Ann summers?

Options
Anyone have an experience of being a Ann summers party rep?? Looking for a job of 16 hours a week and was wondering if this would be a good option??

  • I was a party rep for over a year and loved it. Did an average of 2 parties a week that last about 2 - 3 hours each and made about £30 - £40 per party.

You need to take into consideration that you will probable need to drive to the parties as you can get booked for anywhere, and although you can say no to any party you don't want to do, you do have to phone at the end of every week and tell them how many parties you have done and how many you have booked and how much your sales were for the week.

Best to check your local papers and see how many are advertising as if there are too many of you then you will not be able to get a decent amount of parties. The good thing is though that you get the money on the night of the party, no waiting around and there is no outlay.

You get a kit at the beginning that you are expected to add to, and when you leave you just need to return the smae value of things that you were given, it doesn't have to be the same stuff that you were given.

Hope this helps a bit, it is fun and you get to meet a lot of people, but it can be hard work and you do have to check in weekly as well.

    Good luck whatever you decide.:o

Personally i'd say go for it. I did it for 2 years (a while ago now, when my kids were young and I needed to work evenings) and the earnings were great. Yes, it was hard work but you do get rewarded both in pay and in competitions too (not sure if it's the same now). I progressed to Unit Organiser and even got a company car (mind you I was working about 10 hours a day, 7 days a week!)

Great fun and as has been said before, some of the stories ! Its a great way to meet new people and even make new friends.

I only gave it up because hubby got promoted and we moved house - I just didn't have the time to do it and I'd go back to it tomorrow if I could !

    Good luck xx

    Hi,

We have a party plan thread, perhaps there are some tips on there that will be useful to you.

I'm a Board Guide for this board and volunteer to help the board run smoothly. I can move & change posts there but can't read every post, so if you see an abusive or illegal post please report it HERE (it's not part of my role to deal with abuse).
