Just adding myself to the list, EDD 18th November.

Re middle names, I prefer traditional names. Grace is lovely, or how about Erin Louise or Erin May?

My middle name is Donna and I absolutely HATE it!!! My Dad gets the blame, as he named me after a 10CC song. It's OK for a first name, but as a middle name it's just awful! I usually just pretend I don't have a middle name if anyone asks.

Does anyone know of any cheap tens rental? I think it's about £27 from tesco for a mamatens but am so skint at the mo.... Looked on ebay and there are mini tens machines I could pick up for a tenner but not sure if these are a false economy?

Should I just bite the buillet and fork out the cash for a mamatens do you think?

JoJoB- I dont know if this will be of any help but if you thinking of buying a tens machine then I have seen this one in llyods if its any help for you.

Hi everyone, new and close to term!

Its my 2nd pregnancy, and this one i'm finding uber stressful!!

I had a dvt and pe after daughters birth, and so I'm having daily clexane injections, but whats getting to me the most is random pink / brown discharge.

I know theres a baby in there, I've seen it 3 times, last scan was yesterday but i don't get why this discharge is happening! It could be the clexane i guess (it thins the blood) but it would really settle my mind if i knew where is was coming from!!!

I've asked all sorts of midwifey types, sense tells me its probably nothing, but just as you think, yay its stopped it starts again grr.

I have no pain, and i'm 13 weeks. This pickle started when i was nearly 11 weeks

I didn't sign up for pregnancy AND bleeding!! (silly attempt at joke)

Any ideas guys?! x

Not medical advice, just experience of Clexane / similar!

Thanks for reassuring me Heather. As my OH says, pregnancy isn't something that goes exactly to the book so I'm just going to have to take the birth as it comes :eek: :rotfl:

Ah now TENS machines are my specialist subject! I've had bad back pain for about eighteen months (muscle problems so the muscle relaxing pregnancy hormone is fab for me lol) and use my TENS a lot! Not used one in labour yet I have to point out!

imo I really wouldn't recommend a mini tens, what I think you need to look for is four BIG pads that way you get the very most pain relieving area possible. (that just goes for TENS for any use, I don't hold with the Lloyds one for example as there's only two pads, I've had times when four haven't been enough!) For a labour TENS as well you'll probably need a boost button, essentially you press it when you get a contraction and it ups the tensing as it were so you get more pain relief. I've had a look at the Tesco one and imo (again) it looks really good! So if it was me I'd spent a bit more and rent the mama one. Hope that helps :-)

I love bagging a baby bargin and started to become quite obsessed with using coupons / vouchers thanks to MSE! My other half thinks I'm mad wanting to save a £1 here and there, but it all adds up aye

This is my first baby and I know I'm having a little girl. I'm so happy and excited about it but alittle nervous about how we will manage on SMP.

I am also attending my first NCT sale on 5th April so I'm hoping to grab some cheapy baby things there too

Hi all

Haven't been posting on the thread for one reason or another, have now got plenty of time on my hands waiting for the overdue baby (only 3 days over but am starting to go crazy as cannot walk far/do alot in house) so thought I would have a look and see how everyone is doing.

Am hard to please at the moment, am sick of people asking if anything has happened but if no-one did I would complain they weren't bothered - know what I mean?! And if I hear one more 'have a hot curry/raspberry tea'......:rolleyes:
