Hi balletshoes and thanks for the reply hers is the price from the website
arriving on: Sunday 28 June 2015
departing on: Friday 03 July 2015
package: This price includes Early Booking offer with 2 nights and 2 days FREE + FREE hotel and park tickets for kids under 7. Book by 9 Feb.
£1,418.00*
I would be very interested to hear how to make this cheaper as at this price I don't think I would be going!
cut the trip down by one day, and try a Monday check-in (this gives you the best discount rate on a 2-nights free deal and Monday is often the cheapest day of the week to check in). Then you could take your time travelling on the Sunday, stay offsite but nearby that night, and then check in early Monday morning, in time for EMH that day.
What is the price for one adult, from Monday 29th June for 4 nights?
eta - I've just had a look - its only £532 for one adult - so what I'd do is book that, then buy annual passes for the other 4 of you, then add those 4 to the cabin when you check in. You can buy Francilien annual passes directly from DLP through the post before you go (I'd say buy them in April for a June trip) - this way you get permanent annual passes, already activated and ready to be used, sent to your home address before you leave for DLP. You don't need to worry about any blackout dates because you are all staying onsite so blackout dates don't apply.
4 Francilien annual passes, at the price right now, would be 516 euros total, plus local tax at the DCR when you check in to add the extra 4 guests, at around 2 euros per adult per night is around 16 euros, so in total all 5 of you would be staying at the DCR for 4 nights/5 days for around £950 - and the Annual passes can be used to get discounts on food and souvenirs etc in the resort for all of your party.
If this would work for you, let me know and I'll post a link to "how to" apply for the Francilien Annual passes through the post.0 -
Ok thanks for that I had no idea that checking in on a monday was cheaper the price for 1 adult for 4 nights is £532.
Sounds like a great plan thanks for your help much cheaper!!0 -

I think there's a lot of confusion around buying the annual passes now if you are a UK citizen. I've heard of some people buying them through the post and being OK where others have said they could not. For the sake of saving €20 between 2 of us, we just bought them at the AP office in the park but I understand that cost saving would be bigger for a family! Even though we got ours on a French bank holiday weekend, we didn't wait long at the ticket office at all - it didn't take more then 30 minutes out of our day.0 -
Hi BalletShoes,
We are looking to go in November 2015. The 4 nights, 5 days with breakfast only package at Disneyland Hotel is coming out at £1,150 on the UK website (2 days and nights free offer) for 2 adults and 2 children under 7.
Would you say that by keeping an eye open on other DLP websites, we should be able to beat that?
Thanks for your help.0 -

I went in August with my 11yo and 14yo and found that their favourite rides were a mix between the two parks, so we did both each day. At their age, there were many things they were not interested in, but then some rides they were happy to do over and over again. They loved the rock and roll one, and that had the shortest queue, never more than 5 or 10 minutes, even during school holidays, so they did that one many times. Nimo and Ratatouille was much longer. Ratatouille, we chose the queue going individually, but when we got at the end, they did put the three of us together!
My two would not have enjoyed a full day in the main park, but that might also be because it wasn't their first time there.
Thanks FBaby and balletshoes.
we went to Disney and Walt Disney studios last Tuesday.
got to the studios just before 10am,only managed to do the Tram ride(the special effects were something else) and stunt show both of which i would highly recommend, after that it was jam packed, did the train ride in Disneyland only. It was heaving, every single ride in Disneyland had a minimum of 90 mins queue so grandson didnt go on any rides, disappointing but he still enjoyed the day!
we managed to see the 5.30pm main parade though, spectacular! adults and children alike seemed to enjoy0 -

i'd say you have a decent price, thats around 40% off, not likely to be beat by a lot (maybe £100 or so if you shop around nearer the time of your visit on the other countries websites). How much is your package at the DLH for one adult and the 2 free kids?0 -

you'll need to wait until after next week for the best winter ticket prices to come out, then check the French DLP site (isle-de-france) and ticketnet.fr0
