Thanks,

They did the same thing to me, but basically I am giving them 8 weeks then going to the FCA anyway, because I know they have no intention of fixing my issue.0 -
I've received a message saying my transfer is complete (...after 3 months....) :T
... yet 4 holdings have completely disappeared, a total of around 25% of the value of my SIPP. My SIPP account with HL is no-more when I log in there, so HL hasn't still got the investments ... yet iii say it's all done as far as they're concerned. I've sent a secure message in the hope that a polite prod will make my investments reappear!!0 -
Received a message today from III informing me that they are putting their prices up for SIPP customers.
Anyone else seen this?
I'm not even fully through the transfer from HL, which I did on the basis of them not changing their fee any time soon.
Fortunately, it does seem that you can opt out of the new structure, and it doesn't seem be too different. It could even save you money if you trade regularly.
Please discuss.

Although I'm planning to leave iii as soon as the transfer is complete, I would elect to stay within the old pricing structure.
My reasoning: As My Sipp only contains a lump sum invested in a Vanguard LifeStrategy fund, which I will hold "forever", there's no point in paying the muppets at iii any more in fees.

Count yourself lucky.
I'm almost at 6 months and still waiting.
They received my SIPP transfer request form on 13/02/2014 (sent recorded delivery).
Today, there are still 4 funds in neither HL nor III, one still in HL (partial holding), and only 2 have reached III.
I can't be bothered complaining though just yet, they are long term holdings, so it isn't really bothering me.
If I hit a year, I'll go to the papers or something.
Also, as long as the transfer is happening, neither one will charge me a fee (I'd complain if they did), so it is probably saving me some money.

On with the more positive iii news - one relative's transfer is now complete and in less than two months.
I was expecting a tax refund on a REIT held in my ISA and it has arrived exactly when iii said that it would.
Now, when will my second relative's transfer complete -just one fund still sitting in HL.
And will I receive my income on Thursday/Friday..... the suspense is killing me.......:rotfl:0 -
not spent it until it is safe in our bank account!
I always knew you were a spoilsport!:D0 -
But you are not out of the market if you do an in specie transfer.
I must admit, I did a fund switch over the past couple of days and it was considerably faster than I've experienced previously with II. Sell order placed early Monday morning, contract note around 06:15 the following morning.
I'm now over 5 months into making an in specie transfer. Unfortunately, some funds of significant value are currently still "in transit", not showing on either HL or III. One of them has now been in limbo for nearly 2 months - so I am most definitely out of the market!0
