I think their billing is confusing kilobytes with megabytes on some contracts. In other words it is totally borked. I'm within my allowance, so not paying anything but looking at unbilled usage, just to take a couple of random lines:-

volume 7,667.61 Kb base cost £47.80
volume 1,467.76 Kb base cost £9.15

So they are telling me if I was over my contracted amount they would bill £9.15 for less than 1.5 megabytes?

Obviously something badly wrong going on.
As far as I'm aware they charge 0.75p per kb (£7.50 per mb) to a maximum of £1.021 per day so that would be about right if spread across a number of days
It's not just about the money

What is the unlimited booster - data or texts or calls?

    I found a list at http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/services/boosters/pay-monthly/

Is it possible you believe you have a data booster but it's actually one of the others?

i believe EE actually has the daily cap on data usage as it is capped, they block you and you have to buy more data.
i think the older tmobile contracts are rather expensive for un packaged data

Back in April I changed my mobile number as I was getting nuisance calls but I was still on the same plan with t-mobile could this be where the confusion is coming from?

Well there you go than. I had exact same issue. Its not your fault but t-mobile play silly games and there customer service is incompetent and rude.

I changed my number back in January and port in date was 9th.
on 9th i checked email on my mobile otherwise didnt use much but for some reason any data used on 9th jan was not free because on that day i had 2 numbers with them(there stupid system. number porting was in process) and they just deided to charge me £2 just for checking 1 email.

I called there CS and the lady said she would have my bill recalculated as i haven't gone over the limit. few weeks gone by and nothing, called again and spoke to Ricky who said i had 2 accounts with them (old number was still showing on the bill) after explaining to him that i ported the number and old number no longer works he than said allowance is pro rata based so you have used too much allowance before changing the number and you will have to pay.

I again told him i get 500mb free every month and from 29 Dec to 29 jan i only used something like 150mb so what exactly is the charge for? he again repeated i have used too much in first 10 days(pro rata or whatever he mentioned) at that point i thought i was speaking to an idiot but when i was was trying to explain it to him again that it's same account number(although mobile number has changed) and i haven't gone over the 500mb limit he just hangs up.

I wasn't gong to give up even though it were only£2. i called again and spoke to some lady who listened to me and said she is going to refund me and than said i shouldn't go over the limit as next time she would not refund me. I asked, have i gone over the limit she checked and said NO.
later i checked and they had refunded me £2 twice, but i never called them back :rotfl:

Last year when I wasn't on an unlimited plan it told you when you were over and then blocked me. Mine is t-mobile so I don't know how this gas happened. Also I never seem to gets foreign call centre when I call they are very helpful.

    Did you get it sorted?

I stuck to my guns and eventually got to speak to someone that could actually speak english, he was amazing and very apologetic he recalculated my bill to my usual £21. I'm so relieved as it put me under a lot of stress. I've been a t mobile customer for years and never had any bad experiences with them until they merged with EE. It's shocking that they are doing this to customers

    Update:

T-mobile have cut me off today saying I owe them last months bill but I don't understand as it says on my EE app that they are taking last months and this months bill out on the 30th of June from my bank, so why disconnect my line

Could it be that you didn't pay last month's bill so they can't be sure this months' will get paid either??
