I take it it's too late for me now. Thought nothing at the time re: the T&C's text...but now they're upping their prices.
Anything I can do?

Thank you, will have a read.
I took out a 24 month contract, withh EE via phone4U, only in January of this year, 18th give or take.
I recall getting the T&C's text but thought nothing of it.
The price rise really gets to me. OK it's never much of an increase but it's the principle that really winds me up. I can't see how one party can chop and change the contract yet the other has tied hands.
I have sent the 1st email posted early on in this thread regarding the T&C's change. Guessing I'll get no where due to being late to the party.0 -
Just received my defence from EE, the claim was for an Orange & T-mobile number however they have failed completely in their defence to mention the T-mobile number. I'm assuming this only makes my case stronger.
Just need to think of what to write in reply to that now!0 -

Take a look at post #744 on page 38 specifically the first two paragraphs. RC has pointed out there may be a loop hole for you to reject the t&cs even though it has been over 30 days since you were notified.0 -
Thank you. This is all very interesting.
I fired the gun quickly and sent the 1st email without reading and knowing it had to be sent within 30 days, asking to cancel due to a change in T's&C's.
Was this wrong? Or will I still be able to argue a case?
Also, like I say, I've already sent the email...do I send a separate email once I receive the letter notifying me of the price increase or do I leave it?0 -
Today is the last day for T mobile/ EE to submit their defense. So far nothing from either CISAS or the company. Let's see what will happen! But honestly, after reading others' posts, I personally do not worry too much at the moment.0

Hi all,
After a little advice, following the price rise announcement letter I received yesterday I have contacted EE about leaving my contract using the template from randomcurve. I am however wondering if i should send another email stating that I should be allowed to terminate early due to the rise and also because of the change in TOC now they are using them as it appears there may be case.
Or should just persue the one route?0 -
Just had my decisionDecision
1. The claim succeeds.
2. The company shall cancel the customer’s contract as of 10th February 2014 without applying a
penalty for doing so, waive all charges incurred on the customer’s account from 10th February
2014 onwards, provide the customer with a PAC, make an application for an unlock code and
to pay the customer the sum of £100.00 in compensation.
Thanks for your help everyone, especially RC0
