I think it's actually a nice design website where u can get the annual cost AND the unit price by clicking just 4 buttons and putting just 3 bits of information in. No email address required either. Though why anyone wouldn't use a comparison website and compare all suppliers I dunno. It's really not hard to get the information u want. I really can't believe you have spent so much time and effort to complain about a website redesign that's not to your taste. If you don't like it, leave, it's that simple. All the information you want is on the website but YOU don't like how you have to get it

You didn't even have to put any information in before, they would have a list and that was best. We are a long term ebico customer of over ten years, so I expect better.

The website is garbage and why should I leave. Ebico have become like all the others, trying to hide and deceive customers in what they have to pay. They don't want to make it simple.

Ebico are receiving many more bad reviews. Here http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews191853.html

This is the way ebico used to do it and the way they should still show the unit prices.

Screen shot from one of there old price documents.

EBICO is just a front company to get around the restrictions such as a limited number of energy plans, placed upon the energy companies by ofgem. That is why it claims to be a not for profit company. The companies who actually to the work and manage the customers are profit making companies.

Ebico was different from the rest of them but even SSE, give you your unit rates. Ebico should know better. Screen shots above are what they should be like.
SSE give you the unit price after entering your postcode, which appears to be a problem for you.
A price comparison based on usage is more relevant than the unit price as many providers have varying prices depending on the amount used and some have daily standing charges. Ebicos unit price is higher than some but there are no extras such as daily standing charges or conditions such as needing DD payments. They are cheaper for some but this is not obvious by only comparing the unit price.

Unit prices tell you absolutely nothing about the annual cost, which is the only figure that matters.
Yes. Ebico's structure is simpler because of the lack of SC's or DD/dual fuel discounts. But to make a meaningful comparison with any other tariffs (which is presumably the purpose of the exercise), you need to do a comp site comparison.
Which takes all of one minute...

Macman the unit price is important information, otherwise how else are you going to work out how much it will cost you? You can still use the annual energy check sites but I just want to see unit prices, as we know what we use and it's low.

We should all have these options available not one or the other.

Norman, as I said above, unit price is important information and we have a right to know it, to help make informed decisions.

You wouldn’t buy something in a shop without the price but ask for the total when you have done your shop. You want to work out the individual price of the items, or services you buy.

Same for energy costs and we can have both. I believe in giving the customer all the information they need, weather or not you chose to use all or some of it.

Ebico are still a greedy company like the rest that don't care about its customers. The restrictions you speak of were only recently introduced. By rights ebico should show a standing charge like they all have to now but they don't need to, as they never had a standing charge.

That is also why we moved to ebico at the time as well as the reasons said before.

Ebico are still a disgrace of a company.

Because they've changed their website in a way you don't like and don't show a standing charge as they don't have a standing charge. Very few people would describe that as disgraceful.
