It's only because I got my backside to bed at a reasonable hour-for a change. :)
Tilly seems bright and perky every morning-I would love to be like that. :D

Hmm...it seems that there's something to this. I am a night owl and always have been. Is it possible to reprogram one's body clock?!

    Been to town and got:
    18 chicken breast fillets for£20
4lb of lean minced beef for £12
    2lb bream for £5
Broccoli, savoy, spring onions, bananas, mushrooms for £1 a bowl -£5 for the lot.
Went to rag market where I succumbed to buying some fabric. :o
    3metres for a fiver :)
Then to l!dl and spent just over £8 including some berry teabags to try.
We got to Birmingham by about 7 and nothing was open! So we wandered round until we found a cafe to have breakfast. Then we found out market doesn't open til 9.
So we then found another cafe to have a coffee, then we wandered round rather aimlessly-walking off breakfast.
Thankfully the fruit and veg market was actually serving before 9.
Anyway. For a Saturday morning-for me, we've achieved loads! :rotfl:
We came out of l!dl and there was an abandoned trolley. So I put it away and gained £1 :D

Blimey - well done, you! That's ace! :T I'm currently eating breakfast, am going to walk to the post box and then start listing on Ebay. It's rock and roll at my house! :rotfl:

I am optimistic that I can reprogram my body clock as I'm a night owl by nature and I would love to be able to get up and at it early every morning like we did this morning.
I feel so much better for getting stuff achieved once I have done it. But it does take great effort on my part to do this.
I have worked regular nights for years so I'm normally wide awake really late into the night. I have to be really tired or of the right mindset to get to bed early. So I had a bath and a chillax to get me relaxed enough to go to bed. I don't suppose I help matters normally as I am usually on my computer until I go to bed and my brain is still too active to sleep then.

  • OMG tc, how can you be so perky in the morning - I'm only just getting up!

I woke up at 10:20am as well but I'm not ashamed, I really needed that sleep after several sleepless nights in a row. :)

    But 6:25am on a Saturday - respect, Tattycath. :T

It's even wilder at mine, where I plan to clean one of the bathrooms (two is too much for me in one go, I loathe housework with a passion. :p) and then I think I'll paint the summer house. Non-stop glamour. :D

Well, I've made it to the post box and then remembered I should have gone to the post office as I have a letter to post (but now it's too late).

Right, had better get on with taking pictures and listing...wish me luck!

I think you are right - no more computer an hour before sleepy time and then read a book in bed or something instead.

I will be in bed before 11 tonight, honest! :rotfl:
