Well done of the ciggies. :T

I really should do an inventory of our freezers and start using stuff up. Though I did find and defrost some soup for lunch today - courgette, it turns out, with rather too much garlic it also turns out. :o Was yummy though.

I might make that a job for this weekend - inventory of food in freezer. :)

hi peaceandfreedom. yes, our freezers are in desperate need of being emptied so I can defrost and restock

hi Brizzle  you're more than welcome to pop in. :) the kettle is nearly always on in our house. :)
As for the smoking. I do feel better-now I'm not earning much it is a necessity that I quit-as well as for my health. This isn't the first time I have quit, but hopefully I won't start again!
I need to get my house in order too as there is so much I would like to achieve/sort etc.

A payment has gone out of my bank today so I have done a 'Tilly Tidy Deluxe' (was it Thistlewhistle who said that-I think) over to savings.
    So I now have £2,118/£4,000

Still not had a cigarette since last Thursday. :D

    Well done, you! :T

I've noticed that some people put this in their signature along with how much they have saved doing so. I assume that any savings will be put toward your £4K target. Perhaps this would motivate you with both your savings and resolve in those weak moments when you see how much not smoking is saving you? ;)

Great idea, but now I don't have a regular income I just save what I can. Mr tc is saving from my not smoking as he has bought me several packets before I stopped. :)
If we could have indefinitely long signatures I would have all sorts in mine. :rotfl:

Moving odd pounds instead of odd pence. When I do a Tilly Tidy I move the odd pence in my bank account. When I have no odd pennies but I have an odd few pounds I move the odd pounds-so my account has say £150 instead of £154 (for example) :D
