Nope, there's already an EU261 levy and it'll be funded from that.
Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.

I doubt it, I believe that was put in place after the ash cloud/iceland incident to cover the provision of refreshments (given that ryanair food/drink is SO expensive:eek:)

  • Hi, I was on a flight from Italy that was delayed over 5 hours. I wrote to Ryanair to make a compensation claim but they said as it was over 2 years ago, I was not entitled to make a claim. Does anyone have any advice on what to do next? Thanks.
  • Hi,
Please forgive my ignorance. I'm sure the information I need is all on here somewhere but I'm not the greatest navigating around websites.

Anyway, I would be most grateful if someone could direct me to the correct template I need to submit any claim I might have. And also when making a claim, do you need to submit the amount you are claiming or leave it up to them to make an offer?

The story is, my family ( three people ) were on a RyanAir flight from Manchester to Palma last week and it was delayed by seven hours. This obviously aswell as the inconvenience, effectively reduced our holiday by a day. The only explanation offered was it was a "engineering issue with one of our fleet" I was told unofficially by someone who may or may not know what he's talking about that our plane was taken out of service the previous day and we had to wait for a flight from Rome to arrive so they could use that plane.

Any advice on if I have a claim and exactly how I go about making it would be much appreciated.

Read page 1 that has the FAQs and all the links you need to take a claim forward.
