    Hi there :)

I haven't posted on this thread before, but have been following it with interest, as I placed an order for the 12 + 12 deal at the end of November.

I exchanged a couple of emails with Neil in the run up to Christmas, but no hampers..................until today. I had asked for the initial 2 hampers to be the standard christmas one and the luxury christmas one, and then 2 a month until the end of time....

Well, blow me, a bloody great box turned up early this morning with 8 hampers in it. What's all that about? I should have refused it, but didn't :o. It was sent on the 24th - next day delivery.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry! A right fiasco.

Can I ask, those of you that have received any hampers, did you receive any paperwork with them? I thought that someone had mentioned earlier that they did, but can't find their post now.

Just noticed all these in the T&C's on their website. Haven't seen any of these before...has anyone else? Bit convenient the last one isn't it? and I would bet only added recently due to the p*** poor spelling of the word "guarantee". What is the point of emailing the sales@ address as you don't get a reply. Also this email address is never used by them when sending out the group email updates...

Please note: If a delivery is returned to us because the courier was able to deliver the goods & we have to re-send they will be an additional charge of £10.99 to cover our cost's.

You may cancel an order up to 24 hours before the requested delivery date. However, if we receive notice of your cancellation later than 24 hours before the delivery date, you may be too late to halt the delivery. To cancel your order if the goods have already been dispatched, you must notify our customer services team by email to sales@thenorfolkhampercompany.co.uk

During peak periods we will try & meet delivery times but can not gaurantee delivery on a certain day or date due to our stock/supplier and couriers at these busy times.
24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence?

how very unprofessional! Grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.

Oh and shouldn't that be "because the courier was UNABLE to deliver the goods" and there's no apostrophe in "costs"

    <shakes head in disbelief>

I feel like any that were sent on christmas eve were sent to show that they have at least sent something but have not sent a correct order to anyone

Indeed! Also convenient when he states to email at least 24 hours before to halt delivery...hmmm so people emailed on the 21st dec requesting a refund and no longer wanted their hamper, but their hamper was dispatched 24th dec and received today.

SO he has breached his own T&C's. Goon!

It seems he focused on getting 12+12 hampers out. A last ditch attempt to hang on to the most money for the longest period of time perhaps?

That's why I refused my delivery earlier on, I did not want to open any box, as I had emailed on 21st stating cancel all of my 3 orders and process a refund immediately as he had breached terms and conditions of the contract entered into.

He looks like he was sending items out, even if they were cancelled, as then he could blame courier and say he had fulfilled his contract even under the DSR rules etc. Canny bloke he is, and perhaps Trading Standards advised him to do this??

Ive just been reading up on debit card chargebacks, and seems like it is worth a shot so will be ringing Co op bank to see if they can assist with this. It does say that if paid through Paypal, then try and keep your balance clear in your Paypal acc so the bank can trace it easier. Worth a shot seen as Paypal wont even help as im out of date (Just like some of the goods Neil sent lol)

Ps, he can state all he wants about charging a fee of £10.99, I don't care!!

He can resend the items all he wants, I don't want them, I refused them as I had cancelled them, so let him try and recoup that £10.99 all he wants, that is of course once he has refunded me all my money lol !!
