What about the pots of gold? I'm making them for my Table gifts this year, pretty glasses, lametta, choc coins, toffees, fererro, lindt bear and a lottery scratchcard, all wrapped in cellophane with a pretty bow and label! Got the idea on here but I can't find the link anywhere!

Hello ladies! (and gentlemen!)
Have been lurking here a looooong time, have read from page 1 and feel like I know you all!
You've helped me so much this year with my xmas pressies, I'm doing hampers, snowman soup and pots of gold-all so personal and gifts I would love to receive myself.
Anyway I de-lurked to ask if any of you had seen any nice baskets for hampers anywhere? I'm really struggling, have a B&Ms, Home Bargains, Wilkinsons and Boyes all pretty much within 5 minutes drive and haven't managed to find any
Any help would be much appreciated.
Oh oh! Also, I need some gold foil/paper to put in the bottom of my pots of gold and cant find any of that either xProud Mummy to Ruby

Please stop posting links. I am losing the will to live.:rotfl:
My DS had a football match in Chelmsford yesterday. As I have read so much about Home Bargains on this thread, I took the opportunity to pop into the one in Chelmsford.
For those who have not been to a Home Bargains before, I can report back that it has the same stuff as a Pound Stretcher store.

I got my baskets from Dunelm Mill. I also saw some in Home Bargains in Chelmsford for £6 yesterday. They were lined with red fabric.
I used gold serviettes for the bottom of my pots of gold.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...
