Never mind; onward with the positives from the experience. You could always ask them if they would be willing to provide feedback. I'm on the "reserve list" for a promotion until Sept (unlikely to come to anything) and I too am rubbish at interviews but I decided to sell myself as an exercise and it was slightly better than usual!! All experience can help with the next thing
    Best wishes SL

  • I agree SF - Badger's smilies are fantastic and ALWAYS make me smile :j

Well, I'm very glad it's the weekend:j - been a very difficult week with Maisie being ill and the interview etc. Started off the week totally shattered after being up with her over the weekend and never really caught up on my sleep

Planning a very lazy weekend :o - just been to Al*di (about to update sig totals once I've updated the spreadsheet) and treated myself to the odd wee goodie from there :o

Will unfortunately still need to pop to Mr A tomorrow / Sun for milk as Al*di don't sell mine :( which is a bit of a pain as waste of fuel but not got much choice unfortunately. Hey ho.....

Might just stick a wee can of cider in the fridge for later .... mmmmmm

We've very luckily missed the worst of the rain (couple of heavy showers but over in 5 mins if that) as towns both sides of us have had torrential rain / flash flooding etc

I've just chucked both the cats outside so if it does start here at least they've had a bit of fresh air / exercise (they fight if they're cooped up too long together).

    Happy weekend all :D

Warning might have to do a budget update tomorrow as I haven't even logged onto online banking for a fortnight now :o:eek: as didn't do it last week ..... ohhhhhh

Check your online banking! The longer you don't do it for, the longer you'll put it off :p

  • I'm afraid this is going to be a very moany post :o - really, really really p'd off (mainly at myself).

When I cut the hedge the other day, managed to do the whole thing without incident and then on my way back to the garage spied a bit sticking out ..... chopped it off - along with going through the power cable:eek:

Anyway, checked the electrics in the house were OK - thankfully yes but never occurred to me to check the garage.....

Just been out to put stuff in the TD (yup, run out of hanging space and as it's towels thought I'd just do them) and ..... no beeping power in there.

Hoped it was just the socket with the TD and lights on but no it's flaming everything :(.

Worst of all is that the freezer is absolutely packed, incl:

£40 of dog meat I've just bought
    2 whole chickens
    loads (seriously!) of chicken breasts
    8 packs of mince
10 packs of chicken stock DM gave me the other week
loads of packs of blackberries & apples
    around 15 HM ready meals

    :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Sorry but just so p'd off - it's a lot of money to literally have to throw in the bin (and will seriously affect the budgets)

Not sure whether to just leave it there until next bin day as it'll stink if I put in the bin now?

    Pants ..... life eh!

 I'm screaming for you rising

Are the chicken breasts / chicken / mince cooked or uncooked. If they are uncooked then wait until they are fully defrosted and cook them thoroughly and freeze again in currys / casseoles etc, the mince just needs cooked properly and they'll all be fine like that.

The dog food too depending on what it is??

I'm not sure about the rest but the freezer may take a long time to warm up and the food will stay fresh a couple of days for you to get organised and eat some (okay lots). As soon as you feel them starting to warm up/defrost properly get them in your fridge all stacked together to insulate them and take it from there.

Hope it doesn't turn out as bad as you think :)
