I'm just picturing the scenario if they did come up as £3.50, you get a trolleyfull, go to CS for DTD and said manager who told you the price is called over to authorise the DTD...the shame of it!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Smartie - were you stood behind me in the queue? I'd already passed the manager who scanned it for me so we smiled at each other before I got to the checkout. So when i went to CS, who should walk past but the same manager.... with a policewoman in tow!!! I felt like the big "lottery finger" was pointing down at me, shouting "she is up to something." Put my head down and busied myself looking at my receipt until he'd gone. ha haTiger

That sounds like good news for your brother and MIL, hope they remain positive.
I'm also left handed, as is my sister, and I have a cake slicer (i bake all the time) that annoys me every time i use it ..the serrated part is not conducive to a leftie, it means i use it back to front/upside down. :rotfl:Tiger
