Afternoon!
Busy yesterday having quality time with family so missed out on quite a lot by the looks of things.
Had to take ds2 to hospital today, miles away so we visited a new tesco in sailsbury, bourne park?
Got a baby bath chair, sel £11 rtc but scanned at £16
A philips avent manual breast pump, said £24 save 1/3 now £18 but scanned at £36
Also 10 tubes of toothpaste in a free standing fsdu marked at £1, scanned at £2.
Got £58 dtd back no probs. staff everywhere doing tickets, evry ticket that had an offer had that bit folded over!
Used a £5 off £40 shop and got another and a petrol voucher which OH will be happy about as its 200 miles one way and hes coming back twice a week!
Hope everyone is Ok. Off to read back a zillion postsPlease don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -

So when i went to CS, who should walk past but the same manager.... with a policewoman in tow!!! I felt like the big "lottery finger" was pointing down at me, shouting "she is up to something." Put my head down and busied myself looking at my receipt until he'd gone. ha ha
Lol! If I had been there I would have tried to hide you or something, us MSE's have to stick together lol!! I think if that was me I would have been quite worried as I do feel guilty, not so guilty that I haven't done it about 10 times now in different stores...
If i need something scanning I try to ask a person as far away from CS as possible to minimise the chances of this happening!!
I know some people would not do a DTD on purpose but the way I see it, everytime I have done one the SEL comes down straight away. Now that wrong price has been up for a good few hours or days so how many people have been overcharged and not realised?
By claiming the DTD you are effectively stopping others from being stitched up.I bet that they make WAY more from overcharging than they ever pay out on DTD.

Sold some pine shelves on ebay, buyer collected today £70 in the pocket. Then got email from someone else saying, do you still have these we will give you £200 for them
You win some, you loose some.
Brother's cancer is treatable, he says don't worry he will just need a wig for a bit :rotfl:
MIL's cancer also treatable sofor now.
Frequent I am left handed too. I am useless with knives and scissors.
My Mum has not long gone through her treatment and she asked me to shave her hair as it was coming out in clumps, was the saddest thing I have had to dobut as my mum and I are in tears in walks my dad and tells my mum he's gonna take her to the next footie match as she would fit in very well with all the other skinheads :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: certainly put a smile on my mums face

well my plans today have been scuppered...was planning a trip to 2 Ts to see what carnage they had produced in trying to rectify yesterdays mess.....was all ready to go when DD1 ran across the living room, slipped and smashed her front teeth in
Stopped the bleeding and had a look...one front tooth loose and been pushed down and backwards behind the other two teeth either side....bless herEmergency trip to dentist meant waiting an hour to be seen....they wanted to pull it straight out  but as shes not even 4 yet and not keen on the dentist I didnt want her mentally scarred for life so going to let nature take its cause and hope it falls out naturally soon! On this basis I have two concerns....
1. the impact of the smash couldve damaged the 'new' adult tooth underneath...ie it could come through brown
2. Tooth fairy has never been to our house before....whats the going rate? And does she leave Ts cc vouchers instead of cash :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -

X users say thank you to Fudge_Cake for this useful post
It's not a big thing but some of the posts are quite long and by the time you get to the bottom you can't see who wrote it. I don't always look at the beginning of the post to see who wrote it but by the time I get to the end, depending on what has been said I may then want to know the author so now I need to scroll up.
As I said it is only a small thing but it is annoying me already and I can't see any good reason for the change.:oI love to help people by sharing my bargains:o0 -
Just entered my 5 codes from my Amazon cheapie Andrex, why do they make them so flipping hard to read0

Ah bless her, probably will bother you more than her though!
I think the going rate for the tooth fairy these days is a bar of CDM or a TCO...:TLearn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
