The thing I liked about Faro was the orange trees (complete with oranges) growing in the main city/town centre. If that had been anywhere in the UK the councils would have chopped them down years ago, and if they hadn't, it would have been a fight to the death to get the oranges off them as soon as they became ready. People in Faro weren't giving two hoots aboot the froot.:rotfl:0 -
Afternoon all, no Ts runs for me until tonight, Thursday a good day for meat woopsies. I don't really want or need anything as I'll be away in Spain from Saturday for 10 days and have already stocked up for DS4.
3dogs my thouights are with you and your family, it's such a heartbreaking situation just now, I know from experience.
Who was asking about Calais? Tesco has closed in Cite Europe but I have bought drinks from Carre Four there, some good bargains to be had.
OMG is it 'printer play up day to day? My printer (SX425W) is telling me yellow ink low. I go to change it and the cartridge is lodged and stuck in there.:eek::eek::eek: I'm going to have to wait for one of my boys to sort it me thinks. I have bought 'compatible' inks before but found some of them useless.
Purdita was it you who buys cheap inks off ebay? I've had some from there, some good some bad. Who have you bought from please?
I've caught up on pages from yesterday and last night now must get the hoover out and show that I have done a little housework lol. Catch you all in 1/2 hr or so.
Same printer as mine and I had to change some ink recently. They are tight but there is a little catch on the cartridge you need to press, lift up the back end first (end nearest you, catch is on the same end) it will require a bit of force but after that the cartridge should lift straight up out.0 -

Omg this is a proper nightmareBest share my T's experience!
Picked up two of these. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-4100.aspx SEL said £15. Charged £33 each, so £18 overcharge on each.
Went to CS. Double checked, everything fine, until Customer Assistant is approached by security staff. Customer Assistant told me she had to 'Check on something'. Saw her speaking to managers and security staff.
I was then approached by a manager who asked me to 'Step aside'. I was then told I have been refused DTD as I have been given too many DTD lately, and I am targeting products with OOD SEL's.
Now my history
December - Overcharged on toasta bags. Refused DTD as I used SS tills.
January - Refused DTD on a kettle, called HO who sent gift voucher.
And that's it. Twice I've been overcharged previously, twice refused DTD.
Explained to manager I buy literally 100's of items per month, had 3 total overcharges.. Manager then told me myself and a few others are being 'Watched' by security. I told Manager to check CCTV as I never scanned item, wouldn't have any of it, said SEL was clearly OOD and I took advantage
Told I wasn't entitled to DTD, only full refund (return products). Argued but accepted refund and rang HO. Lady at HO appalled (apparently). Called store, called me back told me DTD would be waiting for me. Then called me back five minutes later telling me no DTD as I'd 'Accepted a refund'.
'Accepted'. Well not given a choice to take items at reduced price or would have done.
Not even offered apology.. Trouts ^^0 -
Now I know its a little early in the year but....Ambre solaire moisturising milk spray various SPF T £14.93 A 2 for £10. Def pricematch got back today. There are other ones for kids with SPF of 50+ . Quite a good one for the £40 shops."Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0

as some of you might know , HC and myself had a birthing of the cake bake off the other day , we had decided on an architectural theme and the top of HC's looked similar to the Mosta Dome while mine managed to re-create the leaning tower of Pisa , I decided to keep mine as a fruit cake instead of a Christmas cake as I didn't want to watch all the jam and slurried icing sugar slip towards one edge .
I just tried a slice (or 2) and it's bloomin' deelish , better than Mr Kips by a country mile .
Well done 4p! lets hope my second one turns out better. I'm hoping it's not going to be 3rd time lucky.:rotfl:0
