Whoopsie tips thread? Can you please point me in the right direction to it please? I need tips! I just dont seem to be able to fathom if and when our local do the whoopsies.

Im sure each store is different with times and amounts, but any tips would be great!

    Hi Lindos,
I found it by typing in "whoopsie tips" to the search bar at the top right of the screen, then click Forum and Go. It's the third one down, called "Only buying yellow sticker/reduced 2012 challenge" by Nikilala

So sorry Lindos I keep getting distracted, trying to update my shopping spreadsheet is proving difficult what with all these conditional spends and dtds....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (definitely not complaining!!!)

Thanks for answering for me tigerwhite :T:D It's a fab thread! WHEN I am up to date on here, I pop over there to have a read. This is a good one too, someone asked about how to cut down their spending: -

  • something to add for people trying to spend £40 and get money back from price check vouchers.
Campbell's Condensed Soups (294g) are 82p each or 2 for £1 in Asda.
    Tesco - 95p each

Plus 20p MOC in the coupon thread :)

My ds3 is a leftie, he struggles with a few things esp some of his toys. He has the little til from t's and gets annoyed at the conveyor and swipe as they are on the right, but he is brilliant at using a mouse with his right hand where as i thought he would struggle with this.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

well my plans today have been scuppered...was planning a trip to 2 Ts to see what carnage they had produced in trying to rectify yesterdays mess.....was all ready to go when DD1 ran across the living room, slipped and smashed her front teeth in

Stopped the bleeding and had a look...one front tooth loose and been pushed down and backwards behind the other two teeth either side....bless her :( Emergency trip to dentist meant waiting an hour to be seen....they wanted to pull it straight out  but as shes not even 4 yet and not keen on the dentist I didnt want her mentally scarred for life so going to let nature take its cause and hope it falls out naturally soon! On this basis I have two concerns....

    1. the impact of the smash couldve damaged the 'new' adult tooth underneath...ie it could come through brown

    2. Tooth fairy has never been to our house before....whats the going rate? And does she leave Ts cc vouchers instead of cash :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh Looby, that's pants. Must admit good on you for letting nature takes it's course and fall out on it's own. My phobia of the dentist(AlthoughI'm good now;))came from the old school dentist puling one of my teeth out:(
Sorryaboutmywife, so glad to hear your news about your brother and MIL,that's great, what a relief for you all:TI have a friend who's DH has non hodgkinsons at the moment and so far the outlook is looking good for him too:)

Just back from today's visit to Mr Ts.

Got £20ish of offers plus the Britney Spears Curious gift set previously mentioned - OOD SEL £20 Half Price (thanks OP:D). Bill came to just over £60, used £5 off voucher, got new £5 off voucher for next week and 10p off fuel voucher.

Off to CS, DTD on the gift set with a smile :D

There were lots of others with OOD SEL of 14th Feb so worth looking out for, though I stuck to the BS one as no scanner at the store.

    Oh, and it's a golden :j:j:j:j:j

    Best share my T's experience!

Picked up two of these. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-4100.aspx SEL said £15. Charged £33 each, so £18 overcharge on each.

Went to CS. Double checked, everything fine, until Customer Assistant is approached by security staff. Customer Assistant told me she had to 'Check on something'. Saw her speaking to managers and security staff.

I was then approached by a manager who asked me to 'Step aside'. I was then told I have been refused DTD as I have been given too many DTD lately, and I am targeting products with OOD SEL's.

    Now my history

December - Overcharged on toasta bags. Refused DTD as I used SS tills.

January - Refused DTD on a kettle, called HO who sent gift voucher.

And that's it. Twice I've been overcharged previously, twice refused DTD.

Explained to manager I buy literally 100's of items per month, had 3 total overcharges.. Manager then told me myself and a few others are being 'Watched' by security. I told Manager to check CCTV as I never scanned item, wouldn't have any of it, said SEL was clearly OOD and I took advantage

Told I wasn't entitled to DTD, only full refund (return products). Argued but accepted refund and rang HO. Lady at HO appalled (apparently). Called store, called me back told me DTD would be waiting for me. Then called me back five minutes later telling me no DTD as I'd 'Accepted a refund'.

'Accepted'. Well not given a choice to take items at reduced price or would have done.

Not even offered apology.. Trouts ^^

    Yahoooooooooooo!!!! :T:T:T:beer::beer:

I'm the OP!! :D I'm as excited that I found something for someone else as I am about getting it for myself! :o Everyone's always so helpful on here, it's nice to help someone, I always feel useless!

One of the stores I went to yesterday had TONNES of perfume giftsets with OOD SELs, maybe I should have pushed my luck a bit further but it was the Toblerone/Matchmakers store and the CS lady couldn't have been lovelier so I was happy with my lot and hopefully stayed under the raydar just getting choc :)

So sorry to hear about your daughter's accident...:( My DS had 2 teeth removed last week as they were 'damaged' due to trauma from babyhood (won't go into details about the trauma other than it involved a few operations). Hope the dentist can help and reassure you...hugs..xx
