  • Hi everyone, sorry I'm asking for help again.

I wanted to do the ES mints but it would cost about £15 +pp for two punches, anyway I bought on ebay a secondhand Quickutz squeeze & 8 dies for £3.79 + £6 pp (I know they are quite heavy). I also bought 1 1/2" scalloped & 1 1/8" circle dies (£6 for the 2). A bit small but will just cover the mints. So what I need help with is can I use any 2 x 2 die in the Quickkutz squeeze or have I boobed in buying this.

    Thak you muckyduckies

Here goes MICRO FIBRE CLOTH DOGS

    clothdogs.JPG

The cloths I used were oblong not square.

    clothdog2.JPG

Roll the long edges into the middle.

    cdog2.JPG

    Fold into approx thirds

    clothdoga3.JPG

Wrap a small elastic band approx 2 thirds down

    clothdogb4.JPG

Wrap a small elastic band between what will be front and hind legs and take over top of the head to form a face. pull face and legs into shape if needed.

    clothdogc5.JPG

Ears were cut out in one peice from an old pair of jeans and pushed through the space at the top of the head.

    cloth6.JPG

Eyes and nose were printed on PC and stuck on using double sided tape. scrap of ribbon used for collar.

I was lucky enough to find the cloths on special offer at Amazon £2 for 6 so only cost me about 35p each. They are selling on internet as flannel dogs for approx £3 each.

I have already posted the poem for these dogs in comment above.

Thank you for all you help and I hope you like these.
I had a go at these some time ago but going to tyr again as i have some of these clothes i got mine from Asda 15 in a pack but that was in the summer not sure if they still have them

Well my Quickutz squeeze arrived today and I'm over the moon. The listing did not say what the 8 dies that came with it were, well it's actually 11 dies and are are complete moxie alphabet set which costs a lot even second hand. It is very heavy so the postage was a fair price, so For £3.79 I'm a very happy lady. Will be doing my ES mints tonight.

    Hi All

I have been buying stuff in prep for the craft fairs this year, a few questions if you don't mind

Flannel Reindeer - do you take the soap out the box/wrapper before putting it in the flannel?

Sock Cupcakes - do you put one pair in a case and is it the large or small muffin cases from ebay? My young cousin loves sushi and was wondering if there is such a thing as sushi socks?? Was thinking trying to make them look like sushi and placing them in a tray (type that lorne sausage come in (cleaned obviously) and covering them in cling film??:rotfl:

Chocolate Orange Reindeer - my " Prototypes" nose and antlers keep falling off, I stuck them on with DST, would pva glue be better?

Loving all your ideas so far and the dogs are totally adorable, is that just out of one cloth????
