Mucky they look great! Love the lil pink one on the right. How did you do it? :)

Sorry in my excitement for being able to post pic's I forgot about the bunny in the picture. I actually found instructions for them here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iuvM0hWkb4

Thank you everyone for everyones kind comments, as I explained these are obviously not my idea but I could not find any instructions for them. This is why I wanted to post instructions for them after I had worked out how to make them. I am making some for friends this christmas including young lads from work who actually think microfibre cloths are brilliant (for their cars) so on to a winner there. When I said they are on internet for £3, thats not me selling.

Hi Looneytunes I did get the cloths on Amazon £2 for 6 about 2 weeks ago but they have now gone up to £4.19 with free postage. They measure 30cm x 40cm. I have not tried to make them with flannels yet.

  • hi, i'm doing letters from santa for our ptfa this year, and am wanting to put some reindeer dust in. last year, i got some bran (smaller than porridge oats?) from tesco, and glitter and mixed together and put in a bag with a rhyme on it. That was for 30 kids so wasnt too bad -this will be for around 150 kids so need to keep costs down!! has anyone any recommendations of where to buy glitter - and do you put a little or alot in? thanks,
  • I dont put glitter in as its not biodegradable and if kids put it out on the grass its not supposed to be good for the birds - dont know if this is right (maybe too PC??) but I put in the sugar strands instead for that reason. It is very easy to buy bigger bags of porridge cheaper - own brand saver versions

to be honest, i just use cake decs instead of edible glitter as it is so expensive. i tend to mix coloured sugar strands, oats and that coloured sugar you can get - buy a few pots of different and make a mix, B and M always do cheap cake toppings, that's where I get them.
