I would assume the Dr had made a mistake and would not want to crucify him/her for that, as long as things were put right.

EVen if they did it to you time after time year after year?
And clear evidence was present, that tens if not hundreds of thousands of other people were experiencing the 'same' kinds of 'mistakes'?
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

Sorry I don't believe a word of this statement.

Your refusal to believe things is your problem, not mine.
It indicates to me a closed mind, that is unwilling to investigate, or explore anything outside of their own little bubble.

    Let's deal with facts.
But some perceive such sites as fact.

Others, arguably more rational types may perceive statements like 'atos kills' with images of houses of parliament ablaze as, well, scaremongering.

Just because you get a decision you agree with, does not mean problems did not occur with the assessment.

My husband claims a sickness Benefit. I am not a Benefit-Basher.

But you are willing to discount what people with direct experience of ATOS state - and willing to defend atos.

Does that not amount to the same thing in many people's eyes?

  • You fail your user name from attacking posters so:cool:

    Not wiser.

I was standing up for another MSE member - a new one at that.

(Congratulations on your wit and originality by the way.)

    So a bit like yourself.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!
  • All slightly off topic. Anyone have anything to add to help the OP?

  • Should call you three the atos trio, dashing heros ready to jump on anyone worried about atos due to perhaps their ONE good experience, to ridicule them cut them down and make them feel like sh** for just worrying.

Hey carry on and perhaps a the numbers will have decreased :(

You cannot answer how they treat the mentally ill, if you can and know what they asked and how they respected that then fine to reasure, but you do not answer what I hoped to get from the atos rep. So let them answer unless you think your one positive experience can answer for all ;)
Perhaps you should use your off button on your computer if you are feeling this way.
