Just found out that the card that comes with the BoS Cash Account can be used at Halifax Cash Machine in England as well and BoS ATM's. The info is not in the Cash Account application pack (pdf), it is in the Classic Account application pack (pdf)!0

anyone know why they changed the overdraft system and is it to align with lloyds as it is totally different now. :mad:0

That's why.
You can even do "Save The Change" on the new BoS range! The excitement never ceases.0 -
Now when you log in, it is also all change as so.
See the upgrade link? So I have an RCA and as part of that am entitled to upgrade to the URCA right?
... wrong! I can't - am not elligible.
Did you reach the "According to our records , you already hold the highest level of value added account" screen immediately after pressing "upgrade" on the main page or did you press the "upgrade to silver account" button (on the second page) and subsequently receive that message
After pressing "upgrade" on the main page , I am presented with the opportunity to "upgrade" to a value added account (not the full range though) I did not risk pressing the "upgrade to silver account" button as that seems final and it is not possible to revert to a rewards account
At which stage were you informed that you already hold the highest level of value added account ?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I only have the Silver Account too, and all I want is to change to the Classic Account for the better overdraft cost and to use Save the Change as you cant with the "old" accounts. However, the branch cannot do it today and I called telephone banking who sent me to LTSB customer service who were very bemused.0

auto-man - the reason I ask is because the "According to our records , you already hold the highest level of value added account" message is indicative of Lloyds Credit Policy Decline CPD :eek:coolesticeking wrote: »Quite easy to tell if you have CPD, login to Internet Banking and:
1) Click on "Upgrade Today" under a Current Account and if it says "According to our records, you already hold the highest level of Added Value Account" you have CPD (As long as you don't have Premier that is)
Check two:
2) Under "Apply Today" Click on "Current Account" and if it says "Sorry, we can't offer you a secondary current accounts."
All means you have CPD, How do I know? Because I have it! Don't see that changing anytime soon either.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Ah, that was going to be my next question I wonder what my risk band is now that I have one. I suppose it cant be that high given all I am getting offered is a silver account but it cant be too low either and I imagine I dont have the CPD. Well I hope I dont have one, I have a £100 overdraft facility which would never increase on the old system but I hardly used the account. Now with the better charging regime and Save the Change i am thinking of moving my banking over.0

I get both messages0 -
So can customers who already have 3 LLoyds current accounts with Vantage also have 3 more BoS accounts with Vantage :think:God save the King!
I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.0
