Hello abatha - its a terrible thing to be bitten by the stitchy bug - anyone here will confirm this I'm sure.Had a quick look on that urban wotnot site you mention and I'm sure some of those pacman/space invader designs would appeal to my DS. They look a simple idea yet they seem to charge quite a bit for them don't they. Pity I don't have confidence/ability to have a go at drawing them.
Hope everyone is making the most of the weekend.
Agree quite expensive, which is putting me off!0 -

i like this elephant but do you think the elephant's nose is out of proportion?
I also like this one elephant 2 but something doesn't seem right about it ? (the way he is holding the watering can perhaps ?)
and i like this one too bath time but when I was looking for something birthday themed to stitch earlier, I was kind of reminded that I don't actually need any more stitchy stuff for a very long time :rotfl:
oh and while we are on the subject, I like this also winter wonderland but I think it would be one I would never get round to stitching...
I think the first one is really cute!
I've done 5 hours worth of stitching today on my Corrie kit, for the first time in months and now my arm and hands hurt lol I'd forgotton just how much of a workout you get when you ain't used to it :rotfl:13 Projects in 2013 Finished: 5 of 13

abatha - hello and welcome to the thread
I do like some of the Urban cross stitch designs but find them a bit expensive for what is essentially very simple designs with few colours (ie. not much in the kit lol) so they are not designs I have in my stash.
Incidentally I wonder who stitched the finished pieces for their site - £150-£200 for a finished piece...I could get into that lol :rotfl:

No, I just think it looks stretched cos he's whoofing out his candles lolI also like this one elephant 2 but something doesn't seem right about it ? (the way he is holding the watering can perhaps ?)
Yeah that one seems a bit strange
Cute elephants though, haven't seen those designs beforepostingalwaysposting wrote: »*sneaks in*

hi bb2 and abatha
my tesco direct parcel is here (yayay) babywiggle picked up one of the parcels (still in its blue wrapper) and shock it (and remember he is only 3 in october) declared "ohhhh lego, for me, open it". queue tantrum cause i said no it was for his birthday.
He has however decided he wants to be a big boy and wear pant today not a nappy so have bargained with him that if they are still dry at bedtime (he hasn't managed it yet) he can have his lego.
trouble is........... i know have another giant box in my kitchen so have put it on freegle..... waiting for someone to ask for a photo again!!loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

guess whats arrived.......................
i've got to work out postage but shouldn't be more then £1.50lets say £6.50 (£9.20 according to past impressions) can be seen in detail here
lets say £5 (doesn't exist on PI website but cheapest i can see is £6.80)
£20 (£26 on PI but around £24 elsewhere).
£15 (£18.50 on PI but around £17 elsewhere)
and if it's ok with everyone I would like two by two (given that tinywiggle is called Noah and is yet to have a birth sampler - gonna do the info on the albhabet bit) again doesn't seem to exist on their website but it this one (sorry i didn't deliberatly choose the most expensive but I had a good reason and wouldn't really do the others). Will happily put £10 in the charity pot and substitute any postage over the £1.50. Also will;) on the chart to anyone.
Also have the code for £5 off a £30 spend with them if anyone wants it just message me. (will also put on flikr group later).loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0
