I was bombarded with mailshots from a well known catalogue company for the previous owner of my flat. After the first couple of months (when I redirected it) I started RTSing it. Couldn't understand why it kept on coming.
I hear you bogof babe, we get mail for 5 different previous owners of the house. I have started RTSing it and I'll be gutted if all the catalogue crap keeps coming. It's such a waste to dump those big catalogues into the recycling. We are still sending mail on (bundled in an envelope) on to the previous owners 6 months later. Some people are just plain lazy to even change their addresses let alone get a redirect from RM.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

nice is somebody not imposing on someone else to take care of their business0

Yes, I'd pop a note in next time you forward their mail asking them to arrange re-direction or they make arrangement to collect as you won't be sending it on any longer. Six months is long enough being nice, I reckon0

Which is precisely the situation where I forward mail to my sons, although the RM service is so dire these days that I often open it, scan and email them the attachment ...
If I do then have to forward the letter to them, I use a fresh envelope.
