    ok not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes. just started comping and so far so good. i have read all the instructions :rotfl::T but do like the puzzles ones. do they tell you if you have won or do i have to check the mag. also i have to put it in the search cos i can never find it lol . some tips would be ace. won some drills from b&q also a ds lite ........ the drills arrived yeasterday can't explain how excited i was even if i have not got a clue what to do with them lol ................... ds not recived yet but the man from the spar phoned and made a appointment for me to have it presented at my local shop :o .......

    firefox question as im stumped....
    it seems to be blocking pop ups on stylist for me, meaning their comp entry pages dont open. it doesnt tell me its blocked a pop up, ive been into tools and options and added stylist to the exclude list so pop ups are allowed but its still not working.

    anyone got any other suggestions?

    it was working fine until i upgraded to ff 4 beta, realised that meant have my extensions didnt work so went back to the one thought i had previously but must not have done as its faster and has the refresh/stop and home buttons in different places rather than at the lhs of the navigation bar and now has a split page option between bookmarks and tools lol

    Glad it's not just me I did the same with firebox updated then found the add-ons wouldn't work and went back, I can confirm that I have the same problem with the stylist comps and have had to enter them via IE the refresh button is also a pain keep going to the wrong side now to press the button!

    I have finished entering my comps now so I will have a play around and see what I can come up with ;)

    the refresh button and any other button that you want to change is easily solved by going to the top of the browser right click then select customise, drag the icons into the box which appears then let go of your mouse then look for the icon again left click on it and drag and drop it onto the left hand side

    the stylist problem is related to Adblock Plus I assume that you are running this? if you are right click on the red icon at the top or bottom of your browser and select "disable on stylist.co.uk" this will add an exception to Adblock Plus's filters and the icon will turn green, the next time you visit you shouldn't have any-more problems

    note the filter will not start working until you have refreshed the comp page ;)

    ooh i found a couple other useful buttons to add while i was customising :D ill try disabling adblock for the whole site

    Don't know if you use Thunderbird as your email client but if you do you can also customise the buttons just like you can in FF ;)

    Has anyone noticed that the lovely Lakshmi7 is only 107 posts away from 100,000, is it worth giving her, her own little thread to say thank you. I often think what would happen if she left, all this and I've never once see her complain.
