MarchSO HUNGRY! MIGHT STARVE!*
Thanks for all the pictures - I always love stoneman food pictures as they tend to have that extra something somewhere along the line, and now video!
It doesn't help that many of those restaurants are among our favorites.
*ok, it will be awhile before that happens, but still...it could happen!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Would like to find a flight from London - SF then SF-Las Vegas then Las Vegas-London or similar deal from Manchester travelling early Aug like to be in vegas on 9th Aug but flexible with everything else. There doesn't seem to be flights from Scotland that are non-stop.
Getting excited all ready.

Mayarrive on the 20th Feb - hoping to find either Tommy Cannon or Bobby Ball in there (I assume they still dominate Vegas) - fingers crossed
Try the $20 trick at check in-that usually gets you the upgrade you appear to be hoping for. Without it you may end up with Holly Madison instead.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Anyone been to Dessy Bs steakhouse and or Pampas (miracle mile), both available on restaurant.com
thanks
I will never EVER go to Pampas, I don't think I've ever been treated so badly in a restaurant in all the times I've been to the US...We got given one of the BOGOF vouchers they hand out on the strip which basically said it entitled you to two of the most expensive seafood & meat 'rodizio' meals (all you can eat), normally $51.95 each. We trekked all the way back down there from up near Wynn etc, got as far as getting a table and were then told that with the voucher we would pay $51.95 but would each only get the meat only option which is $10 cheaper, and we'd have to buy two full priced drinks and pay a set tip on the total price.
I pointed out that this is clearly NOT BOGOF as stated on the voucher (surely if we were both only getting food valued at $41.95, then on a BOGOF we should pay 1 x $41.95, no?!?) and this guy was just unbelievably rude and wouldn't stop arguing with me, like I was the one who couldn't understand the concept of buy one get one free! At the end of the day it might still have been an ok deal, I don't know what the quality of the food's like so have no idea if it's worth the money, but their whole attitude just annoyed the hell out of me so we walked out...actually that's a slight understatement, I kind of had a diva fit and stormed outbut god this guy was obnoxious!
With restaurant.com vouchers at least you know all the loopholes before you decide to go somewhere - if they're going to give out vouchers on the strip to get people into their horrible little restaurant, they should at least be upfront about what you're getting for your money
Sorry, rant over!0 -
MayAnyone want a Pampas r.com cert I have from moons ago.....................?0

MarchI also have some Pampas r.com certificates I've never used...pretty sure that they are on tix4dinner as well - which, if it IS 1/2 price would be a better deal than the r.com voucher.
One day we may try it, but I've read so many mixed reviews that we've never taken the plunge.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
