Hi
I mentioned on the previous thread whether the skimlinks would work if I c&p'd and I think (Amilucky possibly) said that they wouldn't. Well I've just tried c&p for this comp and the moneysavingexpert info is still in the c&p link, is there any way to prevent this

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

I don't think IE has that facility but someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly :-)
Try Firefox for a bit.I'm sure you'll get used to it & you can run it alongside IE with no detriment0 -
Those two links are staggering Amilucky?
Sorry for the daft question but on the board tracker link how do I get my profile displayed as you have shown yours.I've searched with it but seem to just get a list of recent posts.
Cheers for spotting them

There is an Add Block version for IE 8 available here not sure if it works as good as the Firefox version as I don't use IE

lol you can definitely tell what time i get home from work when you look at that:D tbh i always assume that if i've posting n a piblic forum stuff like that will be recorded so doesn't really bother me - is there something i'm not thinking of that should make me be worried?

not really with the boardtracker info the main concern is Google Analytics which is on nearly every web site that you visit including MSE
From WikiGoogle Analytics, due to its ubiquity, raises many privacy concerns. Whenever someone visits a website that uses Google Analytics, Google tracks that visit via the user's IP address. Because so many websites use Google Analytics, Google is able to track visitors across websites, theoretically giving Google a real-time view of the traffic on much of the web. In addition, since Google also has personally identifiable information for more individuals than any other statistics service, there is a significant potential for abuse0 -
Posted by purplecatlover 12.23 yesterday (in old thread): cornish i hve had less notifications than normal, but havent noted if its because ive only had one for each thread, like this one i only had one email this morning yet there are more than 5 posts since i was last here yesterday and normally i would have had a notification for each reply.
My reply: thanks for your reply purplecatlover, but I didn't even get email notification of that. I am now not receiving any instant email notifications, so I'm going to unsubscribe to all threads and re-subscribe and see if that sorts it out. I know there are a lot of changes going on at the moment and maybe it's a temporary problem.
Does anyone know the techie person I need to contact to try to sort my problem out?#StaySafeWishing you a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year0
