hi yes it did work, i just thought i would get another £2 voucher lol, as i thought it would show as if i had spent more than i had for some reason.like in the second spend if id have split it into two spends i could have got 2 vouchers i think?not complaining though as its still a great day spending.x

Hey guys, never ordered from Boots.com before and looking for a bit of advice. I've noticed tonight that Clinique are doing 750 bonus points for 2 products. I was hoping to combine this with the bonus time set that starts tomorrow. If i was to place an order on .com tomorrow when is it likely to arrive? and also do the Royal Mail deliver the parcels as I'm not sure if I will be in when it arrives.

    Thanks

    Hi

You won't get both the gift and the points I'm afraid

My orders are delivered by Home Delivery Network, within 5 days, unless you pay for next day delivery.

Here is a picture of the GWP. Nice to have a men's set as well!!.. Free with 2 items, not necessarily skincare.

I like the Boots threads. I come here at least twice a day to get my vicarious thrills reading about everyone elses bargains. Goodness knows I get my share of Boots swag but I don't have the time or cash to go out and search for it every day, plus I make a point (spot pun here!!) of not buying things I don't need and won't use. But I love reading about everyone elses finds.

There's a lot of other threads here that seem to run on what I mentally call the smart alec principle....people seem to think they score a point every time they can chip in a derogetary comment or nitpick. Hah. Smart? It's just booze ridden pub conversation, or at best the squabblings of a bunch of twelve year olds. Surely the whole point of these forums is to band together to help one another out in working the system to our (legitimate) advantage? I think we do this very well here on this thread, and in a cooperative manner. I can see the gossipy coffee morning style might not suit everyone, but it's a darmn sight better than some of the sneering, name calling, irrelevant nitpicking I read elsewhere.

Back to the important stuff. Up in the North East Cluster ie Edinburgh and surround I have found the Ted Baker bags in the Musselburgh branch clearence section for £4.50. I didn't buy one because it's not the sort of bag I use but there were plenty on the shelves, plus Sanctuary footcare etc. Fort Kinnaird clearance section turns over very fast and you really have to be there within ten minutes of it being stocked, I think. Nothing there but photo albums at the moment.

Will be going on a little circuit today though and will pass two or three Boots...will report back later.

Did you not get a MF GWP?

I was going to go there today but decided to stay in and do housework  . I lost my wedding ring in the house on Friday and can't find it anywhere so I was hoping to find it after a good tidy up. No luck though, I'm gutted :( , we've only been married 4 months!

Just read back and realised you'd lost your wedding ring too :(

I can't find mine, or engagement ring, but I know where mine were - in a decorative plant pot that neither me nor other half liked

I'm hoping the silly b*gger hasn't dumped the plant pot  (which would be typical of him lol).

Good luck in finding it :)

Haven't been Bootsing since the weekend and feel 'lost' so seeing as I'm not getting a MF hatbox, I'm going to empty my remaining Mother's Day accessorize hatbox, and fill it full of goodies that I intended to give away lol.

Can't wait to see your report. Since I am off tomorrow and Monday will have to find something to do as OH is working. What will I do?

I guessed that those bags would be reduced valk_scot. They're not the type of bag I'd normally choose either, but there's something really eye-catching about them for some reason:confused: , but I won't be dashing out to buy one. That's if one ever appears locally. Which it probably won't. I'm still quite happy with the Ruby Wax bag - they'd be ideal for your camping (it was camping wasn't it?)

Totally agree about some of those other threads too btw. :)

Lol...have a home spa day? I remember Cosmopoliton (which I have not read since my twenties) used to be dead keen on spending a day at home detoxing and pampering yourself with lots of beauty products.
