FILL A BAG WITH CARDS FOR £1 - the works

popped into the works book store today and they had thousands of greetings cards on a large table, above the table was a sign which said "fill a bag for £1".
the bags they used were not full sized carriers though, but you could fit approx 50 cards in a bag, which works out at 2p a card.... bargain!!
Im not sure if this is a nationwide thing (although they are also doing it in a neighbouring town)...
I hate buying cards as they just get chucked... but at this price you're getting a card for every event.

Hiya, you can send direct to the children so you get to pick who to send to, they love hearing from people and the parents take comfort in someone caring enough to take the time to write

I was in "The Works" in Southampton over the weekend, there was a sign by the till about The Works going into receivership... could be some interesting bargains coming up..
