    I have my sony erricson k800i phone (could someone direct me to the correct page, if you have one, thanks) and I was wondering if I could get it unlocked as I would like to buy an 02 pay monthly sim card as I understand it I can use a tecso sim in an 02 phone but not the other way round can anyone help me or will I have to go to a shop or market?
    imei is 35908701-256584-6-41 and on Tesco payg network (UK)

    Hello,

    I spend most of my time in France and mistakenly bought a Sagem phone to use here, but at the time did not appreciate how expensive the French system is. Consequently I would like to unlock the phone and use another sim card. However it appears that unlocking this phone is impossible?

    Does anyone know different?

    It has always been possible. Just not many people apart from the network it is locked to will know the code although you can buy codes for Vodafone locked phones for about £10.

    You can patch unlock a W810i for free if it is the right cid (I think cid 49).

    Please read the following guide on unlocking a W810i. It shows you how to debrand and patch unlock it. To patch unlocka W810i it must have EROM Color : Red and EROM CID:49. Remember to backup your GDFS before doing anything,
