When I got married I hired a car from Masons in Bletchley (Funeral Directors)

I had my wedding reception at the Herald Sporting Club at Stacey Bushes. Who did us a Hot Buffet and provided a disco for the evening.

Perhaps you should ring around a few resturants and ask them to quote for 30 guests for a wedding meal. A sit down meal should take a least 2 or 3 hours if not more. Then hopefully you can get into your Reception earlier and provide a light buffet which will take you into the evening!

  • For your flowers I would recommend Flowers for Every Occasion who are based in Tongwell.

They did my wedding flowers which were fantastic - just what I'd asked for.

I've also used them for flowers for conferences at work and I've never been disappointed.

    Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a landscape gardener in Milton Keynes? Many thanks.

we used these for our wedding and they were fab - would completely recommend them. My Mum also uses them as the provider for work and has never had a problem.

    For a DJ I would 100% recommend

He did our wedding plus 2 other weddings we have been to and is always fantastic. He has his own insurance as well, which is good.

Our wedding cake was from here and it was beautiful and tasted perfect (we had chocolate cake:D)

I had an executive car for my transport and one of the ushers took my H. My car was £40 for the trip (Stony to Stowe) and when a Bentley arrived for me I was very happy! We got the car from here

My brother has a Merc so we used that for the bridesmaids.

re the food - could you have a BBQ at the pavilion? I know there are people you can hire for these types of events. Maybe even a hog roast?

Our photographer was fantastic but came over from Essex for our wedding and I am not sure if she still does it.

Does anyone know when the majority of MK schools go back?

Am planning a trip to the Eco Park. My kids don't go back till Weds next week, so was wondering if next Tues would be fairly quiet.

    Thanks
    Now proud Mumto3 :j
  • Quite a lot of MK schools also go back next Wednesday, so don't know how quiet Eco Park might be!
  • I know my sons go back on Tuesday (Beds schools,Woburn Sands), but my daughter goes back to Walton High on Thursday.
