I have not used a cashback site before. Having looked at Topcashback how can I be certain that cashback offer of £25 is still current?

    Thanks

Type aa in the search box on the Topcashback site.

I have just checked my Quidco Account. My £25 has gone straight to declined. I took it out last night.

I don't think this cashback can be valid with the £29 cover. I Hope if I call them it can be cancelled.

Everyone try and remember that Quidco is not guaranteed. I did this with the AA in January (£10 deal at the time) and after waiting 4 months it was declined, I appealed and it was again declined.

Well, I went via Quidco & my cashback has just been declined after 3-4 weeks! I am gutted, but I'll get my own back on them - next flat tyre, I won't be on my hands & knees! I have never called out a breakdown service before nor would I have for a flat tyre. Also if I see anyone broken down, I'll be only too happy to call the AA for them (took personal cover for £33.60).

***PS Folks, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you lodge a query with your cashback provider if there are any problems - make sure others using them know that we have had problems!***

Thats why I would not touch Quidco! You hear this too often.

Rpoints is by far the best, no fee like Quidco and they have a highest cashback promise (HCP), so if you find a better deal with any other cashback site then you just make a claim for the difference.

With HCP there is no need to go with anyone else as you always get the max cashback and Rpoint have much more choice when it comes to withdrawing your cash.

Thanks for that. I needed recovery as well and Greenflag offered the best deal, and there is £20 cashback on Topcashback. Now have this amount pending, so hopefully......
    Waddle you do eh?

I'm sure when I signed up for this AA cover that it said it came with a free air conditioning check. Has anyone discovered how you actually arrange this?

Can I buy cover for my mum and her car, if I register and pay using my name?
    Thanks
  • I went on the website today but its coming up as £35 now - does anyone know if its still available at the lower cost?

And can you specify a start date or is it date from when you sign up? my existing RAC cover expires at the end of august.

†Join the AA and Nationwide Autocentres will give your car a free 15-point check, plus a free air-conditioning inspection and spring essentials pack. This thorough, 15-point check covers items from your braking systems to your battery.

To redeem this offer you will need to show your AA membership card at Nationwide Autocentres and call 0845 855 3234 in advance to book.

  • This also works for Green flag cover using topcashback (you can get the MSE referal link if you do a search for it)

Myself and Mrs Baker did exactly that last year. Our memberships expire in a couple of weeks so we're going to do it again.

Don't rely on getting a renewal letter to remind you - remember to cancel BEFORE your membership expires.

Any better deals for the AA at the moment? Or is it still £23.60 through the cashback sites - been bartering with AA over the phone but they won't match it...
