Just got a book from 'the book people' https://www.thebookpeople.co.uk
called 'Just One Pot'
£4.99, has loads of recipes including deserts, most of them could be done in the slo cooker. ;DMember no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

I bought a slow cooker years ago and it came with quite an extensive recipe booklet. You lot have inspired me to dig it out! It even has a recipe for Black Forest Gateau!!!
Here are two I fancy trying:
Creamy Rice Pudding
Butter the inside of the cooking pot. Add 400ml milk, 150ml evaporated milk, 50g pudding rice, 50g sugar. Stir and cook for 4-5 hours.
Raspberry sponge pudding
Preheat the empty slow cooker for 20 minutes. Butter a 1 pint basin and put 2 tbsp jam in the base. In a bowl cream 2oz each of margarine and sugar until light and creamy. Gradually beat in 1 egg. Fold in 3oz sr flour and add a little milk or water to make a soft dropping consistency. Put the mix into the prepared basin, smooth the surface and cover with foil. Stand the basin in the cooking pot and pour boiling water round to come halfway up the sides. Cook for 5-6 hours.0 -

I did that the other day with potatoes. ::)
Didn't stress trying to clean it, just put some washing powder & water in it, left it over night and it just wiped off. 8)
I 'm sure I've read on here that someone else does that aswellLaughter is the sun
