How does the recommend a friend thing work? I've got a friend on a contract with 3, do we both get £30 credit on our accounts? I can't find ANYTHING on the website about this!

It might be worth checking there aren't any clauses meaning you couldn't opt out of the contract after 18 months. Does anybody know?

Oh yeah, and do you actually pay £17.50 for 18 months, rather than £35 for 18 months and then get a cheque back at the end of the 18 months to cover the difference? They used to do that a while back, not sure if they still do. I'm wary of this now.

Something important about the recommend a friend thing...it seems to force you to go to three.co.uk/friends. How can I get the quidco money as well as doing this?

Does the recommend a friend thing come up near the end of the order process anyway, or does it only come up if you go through the link on the recommend a friend page? I just don't want to risk losing the £100 quidco cashback for the sake of a possible £30!

Go through quidco to the home page of three.. Underneath where they have got Home-Shop-Customer support- and so on you have another list Find a handset-Find a tarrif and the fourth one is recommend a friend..:)

It’s easy money. And easy to get. All your friend has to do is follow these simple steps:
    1. First, get your friend to visit this page www.three.co.uk/friends
    2. Tell them to click the ‘Let's go shopping’ link at the bottom of the page.
    3. Then once they have chosen their preferred handset and tariff, all they have to do to claim their £30 credit is enter your mobile number in the relevant box on the 'order confirmation' page.
A word of caution: if, for whatever reason, your friend finishes their current internet session, they’ll have to start over at the Recommend a Friend web page. So try and get them to do it all in one go. Otherwise none of the details will be remembered and neither of you will get your credit.

That's right, but it asks you at that point to click the 'let's go shopping' link which redirects you to the three store-I'm not sure if that's vital, or you get asked if a friend recommended you towards the end of the order anyway. That's why I am worried that I may not get the Quidco money.

It worries me by the whole 'make sure you do it in one session' thing, which is exactly what we must do with Quidco. So I am thinking the two won't both work-it's one or the other?

You pay £17.50 a month for ? months... No cash back (only quidco) No cheque back.. Just £17.50 a month for however long it says against the handset you choose..

You get to put the recommend a friend number in a box on the comfirmation page.. I did this and went through quidco.. It's showing in my quidco account as being tracked.. If you are worried about it going through quidco why don't you place an order and select a delivery date in three or four days so that if it doesn't track in your quidco account you can cancel it with three and do it again..Only problem is it would mean another credit check..

I forgot the offer ends tomorrow... or does it..
