jake your tv probably does not have an composite output just input...the yellow circle one next to the red and white. your dvd player should have them on and your sky if like mine only has audio out red/white.0

As a rule, all SCART sockets are bi-directional, so not only can you play your video into a TV via a SCART socket, you can also get a feed of whatever is showing on screen as a composite video output via the same SCART socket.0

I know this thread has been going for a while now, but I have been watching it and thinking of buying one of these!!
Quick question if anyone out there knows: I was thinking of buying as a mass storage devices for digital pictures. I don't have a laptop so need to be able to download pics straight to device - is this possible? I have a Canon EOS350D.
I believe it is possible with the Archos, but don't want to spend out that much, and this could just fit the bill!!
Thanks0 -

I did buy one of these scart av in/out. I know I could have got it much cheaper but I couldnt wait:D . It is fantastic. I have used it to break the dvd scart and now can record from the dvd and sky without losing the pic on the TV. If you dont have av out on your TV or DVD then I can advise these as an easy solution.
This is starting to look like a real bargain now!:T
Did anyone find a cure for the video jumping to the next one after 15 mins yet?0
