    Next update :D

Using Wilkos On Coat Satin, it goes on easier then the quick dry stuff but takes nearly 2 days to dry out!!
First picture is after I started sanding it down as I forgot to get a before picture! Most of the handles had come off ages ago though.

Thanks Vicki :) I love all your things too btw.

I wasn't sure that the hinges would pain over as wanted them in the same colour but seems to have worked ok.

thank you for your help re the manky lampshade! will try the talc 1st, that is what my mum suggested when i told her about it, then she saw it & suggested getting it dry cleaned:eek:, not exactly money saving!
if the talc doesnt work i will try the cheap bread & report back with the results. this lamp has cost me more than anything else!

Just thought I would show you some of my "stuff "
This is the wooden tray I posted on here a few weeks ago

I recently purchased this from a cs, i'm sure it was less than £2.00

    and here it is now,
I'm just a little bit disappointed that in a couple of areas on both the tray and mag rack the varnish has seaped through to the paper
