What are you talking about? Threads won't show up on your facebook page unless you explicitly click the link to share it on your profile. There is no privacy issue here.
I know that anyone can add a link to a post on any website - I had never really considered this before until I came across one of my messages years ago that was on a site I'd never visited - and it was incorporated in someone's post and used as an example for the topic they were talking about.
So for the question of privacy, posting anywhere online can be an issue, not just on here which I have to admit, I'd overlooked even though it's happened to me.0 -
Thought it was St Patricks Day for a moment. Come on, who's the colour blind/Irish member of the MSE team.
Also site very slow to load initially for me and page loads take twice as long as before. Hope this isn't permanent; blue would be fine but not snot green.0 -
Does seem slower but expect that will only be temporary. I think it'll take a bit of getting used to but don't all new things?0

Finding my posts from my profile is now under "statistics" I know a lot of other iternet forums use this format but I preferred the old MSE way of finding my posts it was 1 click quicker than this one.0

We are still working on speeds but hopefully it should be getting faster all the time.

have been using the new look on & off since it was first put on here for discussion, then decided to stay on the new look since last week,
only problem at the moment for me is the slowness, but see from your posting you're all working on it,

I however can not understand why it has been rolled out when issues are still out standing?- The 'hiding' smilies still hide when you go advanced
- It's still almost impossible to see when the multi quote button has been clicked
- Everyone still hates the big box in the first post squishing everything and it obscures things if you edit the first post.
- The 'go to first unread' icon is still tiny and hard to see/click for those with good eyesight and manual dexterity so I hate to think what it's like for those who don't.

I'm definitely not keen. It doesn't look cleaner, it looks like the graphic equivalent of switching Times New Roman to Comic Sans MS because you think it's "easier to read". Sorry, but I'm switching back.Homosexual, Unitarian, young, British, female, disabled. Do you need more?0
