After 6 months with Barclaycard, you can apply to a card for "current customer" & they only perform an internal scoring, no credit check.
I could not get accepted for any sort of barclaycard, but my friend has held a barclaycard for several years, never missed a payment, always paid on time - and has been refused one of these cards.
He does however have a balance of £3500 on the card out of a limit of £3630.0 -

His equifax report may not be as good as he is telling you,he might be paying barclaycard on time but what about his other lenders.
And won't of thought barclaycard would give him another card when he is using 99% of his available credit on his original barclaycard..0 -

With that amount of debt mate ,think bankruptcy is the only option..
Give it 10 years then start a fresh again..
Good on you though for the last 3 years at least you have been trying to pay it back,unlike a lot of people.0 -
