Hey juno, have you spotted the one in the forums. Martin says it is easy, but i have been searching for an hour with no joy.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
No, but I've found 3 others and the bunnyMurphy's No More Pies Club #209

The forum one is really bugging me, i disagree with it been easy. Im sure it must be invisable (sticks on xray glasses)Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Okay, I have found them all
I hope, I tried to hide them in a spoiler field but it didn't work
The links still showed, if you don't want the answers do not look. I have just hidden the links to make it less obvious if you glance over.
Hopefully I'm not in breach of rules for posting.

Originally i did not intend to do this scouring of the mse pages, but when you start hiding the eggs into source code, you get the attention of a software engineering student
Bunny
Link - Link Hidden (Click to view) (Any page on the main site will do, embedded into footer of page) - Bunny is drawn in ASCII source code
Site Eggs
Link - Link Hidden (Click to view) - In section "Top for spending over £1,600: Capital One"
Link - Link Hidden (Click to view) - Health Savings Tab, under the forum image.
Link - Link Hidden (Click to view) - In Section "The 'find a property' checklist"
Link - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/cheap-theme-parks/oakwood-theme-park-vouchers - Next to "There are no current deals available for this theme park"
Link - Link Hidden (Click to view) - MSE News dated 17 June 2009, Next to "Further Reading / Key Links"
Forum Egg
Link - Link Hidden (Click to view) (any page on the forum (i guess, but i used this section)), it should appear above the clock / social networking links)
This one shows up once an hour at a guess, which made it hard to find. It is at the bottom of the page. I was alerted to its presence partially by martins clue but checking the source code and reading.
If the comment Easter egg hack was not there i would never have found it! The hint helped too.Do not let your eyes deceive
The clue you hunt you cannot read
For its pictures you seek and scour
And the clock is ticking by the hour...<!-- easter egg hack -->
<!-- easter egg hack -->
Uploading final image shortly. - *silly* i was reading OFT guidelines. Ill sort it out tomorrow.
I do wonder whether the words "Easter egg hack" are the easter egg
Or as meerustar says maybe last years easter egg - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1611629&highlight=easter
:EasterBun:easter_ba:icotbaske:easter_os:easter:
Edit - I removed the spoiler meher, i tried it but the image still showed, so no win either way.EGG 6 I found in (last part of link) /category/just-for-fun/ if you scroll to near the bottom of that page there is an Egg next to the Section 'All Boobs and toes......a modern holiday postcard.
sharonxxsteve found the last one, - http://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/category/just-for-fun/ in section "All boobs and toes… a modern holiday postcard"
So it wasn't on the forum or the main siteAlthough no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Congratulations DarkConvict.
I'd never have got the one hidden in the source - I wouldn't have even thought to look there.
Maybe if the prize had been a giant Easter egg I'd have tried harder0 -
well done DC xxxx0

Some of you are seeing things
that I definitely can't see. I haven't seen the bunny in DarkConvict's link, neither proof of the egg on the forum. So can't get myself to congratulate yet. Fifer has taught :cheesy: us to insist on evidence for claims.

Well Done Dark Convict
Here is where I found my bunny and 5 eggs. I would never have got the forum one I don't think. I spend hours on this yesterday and got up early today for another go, but not good at reading between the lines in source code so I could have been here for years, lol.
I am going to be really sad now and wait for the gg to pop up in the forums just so I can see it and swear at it :rotfl::rotfl:
Enjoy the champagne :T:T
