Oh no dramas lol
Well done sharon and Steve and welcome to MSE x0 -
Sorry DC for confusion on the Blog Egg. I did have the link there but after I had typed all of my message it came up that I couldn't use links with being a new user so had to delete the links and type manually. I was all excited and forgot to mention the last one I found on the blog.
I have to admit I didn't find the bunny on my own, that one stumped me. One thing this Easter Egg Hunt has shown me is how much information is on this sight!! I had only ever browsed over certain areas before. Very very useful. I will definately be on here more often. :j0 -
No problem, I spent ages checking the main site for a section "just-for-fun".
After 30 minutes i went to google and it showed up in the blog pages. :P Blog can be accessed via the main site so i wonder if there is still an egg in the forums?
Well done on spotting it. I wasn't going to hunt for the eggs, but after the MSE team decided to hide them in source code i decided it might be worth the challenge. They made it difficult indeed, i couldnt even search the source code because each egg has a unique image name :PAlthough no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Tray of chocolate next to computer.
1 hand required to operate the mouse / type results off egg hunt.
Other hand free for eating chocolate.;)

And the winner is...
Congrats to sharonxxsteve who found six eggs and the sneaky bunny.
No one found the egg in the forum but that may be because someone in MSE Towers forgot to take the one out of Cashback Credit Cards (which wasn't originally part of the comp).
Here are where they were hidden...
Special Occasions Board (page 2) in the forum
All boobs and toes blog
Oakwood theme park deals note
Find a property checklist in the House Buying guide
MSE voted most trusted website news story
Health Savings section page
The Rabbit is an ASCii Rabbit in the site masthead. See picture by DarkConvict who deserves a special mention for finding the rabbit very quickly, but sharonxxsteve added the blog egg on top.*** Get the Martin's Money Tips Free E-mail at www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips ***0 -
There's no way in a million years that the forum egg was there for the duration of the comp .. I can guarantee that I check every board for about 10 pages and it wasn't there .. are you with me on this one DC?0

In a way i did find the forum egg, i found the source code for it
At the bottom of the page. The easter egg hack code. I agree i didn't find the page, I only searched page 1 of each forum not page 1 and 2
I am still confused over there been one in the blogs (not part of forums or main site) That wasn't in the rules. IMO the credit card one should count and the blog shouldn't. Also sharonxxsteve never linked to them, new posters can't post links
'Defensive rant over :P'
None the less, well done sharonxxsteve :easter:Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Hi folks,
I've just read the above and oops. So DC - we shall be sending you a bottle of champagnse too (though not a magnum) as a consolation.
The forum one was there - as I checked it myself (i didnt check the others) to see what the egg looked like.
Hope you had fun with it thoughMartin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

I appreciate the offer Martin, I wasn't expecting it but it shows a little consumer complaining can go along way
(I'm sure could have quoted something similar from blog) Hopefully it will put the competition in good stead if it goes ahead next year.
A few have asked over the champagne already, it is for numerous reasons been given as a gift to my girlfriend who assisted in saving the life of an Elderly friend the other week, add to the fact she is 21 in May, it ties together nicely.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
