IE doesn't let you see the source, firefox lets you so it is actually a disadvantage to those who use IE. Normally I like clever littel tricks, but this just outrageous if you can't view a reasonable image within the forum. Thanks meerustar for the pointers. I also learnt something new today - view, source feature.

... but for the competition LAST YEAR ... he didn't say that didn't count from 2009 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and it is relatively easy to find :p

Not totally convinced about DC forum one as I've been on the forums all morning and not seen anything above the clock etc.

I swear i saw it the other day, maybe the headache sunk in lol. I haven't seen it this morning either, i hope it wasn't on just a certain page, although i have checked all the indivduals, control panel, forum sections, terms condiitons etc :) Maybe it is still out there Ooooooo

The egg may well be last years easter egg. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1611629&highlight=easter Although it has not been edited since last year. It also still says it does not count :P So i assume that still applies.
Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies

IE does let you view source code, just right click on the screen.

I think it is like this for IE 7 and 8. In IE 6, try view -> source from the menu bar at the top.

Yes, the same, IE8. Nothing comes up as in Firefox there was a pop-up of some scribbles.

Try pressing F12 to open IE developer tools, that should do it as well. Or click tools -> Developer Tools

Googling the problem shows several offers sure the missing view source button.

    Thanks, that works :D

I still fail to see the point in propping up a bunny in a format that's hardly recognisable. Anyway enjoy and good luck with your venture :A

You have to go on the main site. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/ Do view source, and look really far down the bottom in the MSE Footer.

Back to the DFW forums for me :) DC Away......
