I went tonight at about 6-7pm in 3 stores... the first two didn;t had anything and than.... Boots in Westfield (London) still had load of almost everything! I spent about £30 and got 2 full bags: Extracts gifts, So perfume gifts, some bath gifts, a Botanics aromotherapy set and some more that I can't remeber now.... I am still not decided if I should go tomorrow after work to get some more stuff...0

One girl had about 4 on her pram, and others had their poor hubbies standing by the doors with huge basketfuls of stuff.
Sadly I'd never smelt the Gok stuff and when I got home I had a sniff - sorry I really don't like it, and this was to be a nice treat for me. Well I have a big pressie for my Mum's birthday soon!
I got there about 10.40, guess they all must have gone instantly. I saw people walking around with stuff in their baskets that I couldn't see on the shelves so things must have been flying off.Well done you.
If you don't like the Gok stuff, I'd happily take it off your hands. :rotfl:0 -

It was my first Boots 75% sale "experience" and I found it very civilised. I got mostly toys, lots of photo albums (for my new years resolution of sorting out photos!) and a few smelly sets. Very pleased indeed, worth getting up and out early for!
Well done to the early risers (I didn't wake up till 9 and then had to rally the troops)! Glad it paid off.
The photo albums are particularly gorgeous this year.
Sadly, I have M.E. and today was my one excurtion (and pushed it as I have a cold so am feeling pretty terrible now) so won't get out to see anymore. Still, glad I got some great bargains. I'll know next time - ditch online, get up EARLY.0 -

I do believe they were great in the "gold old days" (lol!) a few years back but I had not discovered the ancient art of bootsing then lol :rotfl:
there is a 90% every year but the quality is poor. You'll see the old people lavender sets and survival kits in that sale, or the odd box of No.7 with a lipgloss missing etc. It is usually 1-2 weeks after 75% but it is literally pot luck at what you get, and I never make the effort to get there. Xmas cards, paper etc. you might find in the 90% too

For anyone in the East London area - specifically - Beckton, the Boots clearance store there still has LOADS of S&G things from 75p to £3. Nothing to do with the 70% off sale either as they've been there for a while and lots still there today. Flake Away, body butters, eye creams, shower gel, foot soak, bubble bath etc.
They've also got loads of current stock Sanctuary/S&G products which are still full price across the road at their Gallions Reach store in the retail park.
I asked in Gallions Reach about any S&G hatboxes and noticed a man loitering around in the background when I was speaking to the SA. When she told me that they went over the Christmas period he seemed visibly disappointed and sloped off as if he was going to ask exactly the same thing. I'm sure he'll incur the wrath of his missus when he has to report back that he found nothing.I did steer a few people over to the clearance store when I saw the regular prices though.
Result. :T Lets see if I'm this lucky in getting a £1 room tomorrow.OGB - Queen of Bling baby...:A0 -
I was in the queue outside Boots in the Quadrant, Swansea at 8.15. I was about 20th in the queue but when the door opened at 8.30 it was just a scrum. People were rude and very greedy, I saw a woman with 8 of the Chilli Pepper bags! I managed to get a few bits, I don't make a very good sales shopper as I'm too polite, there was loads of Gok Wan sets but didn't see any No 7 Ultimate sets. Boots should do a maximum of 2 or 3 per item as the supermarkets do when they have better than half price offers on.0

Hello to a fellow Swansea shopper! I too was in there today - didn't manage to get there quite so early....had to do the school run first. Did manage to get a few things. I couldn't believe how many people were there and many bags each of them had.0 -
never did get the online order to work
My local boots was manic at 9.15 when I managed to get in after dropping the kids off at school, got a few things and had a bit of a row with the sa:eek:, she said I couldnt use my 250 no7 point coupon on the no7 stuff in the sale as it was on offer:mad:. I kindly pointed out that you can use it on the 3 for 2 no7 which is an offer, she begrudgingly tried it, and it woked!!!:D Really wished there were more toys, I seamed to miss that.0 -
