Runs away and hides under bed NEVER wanting to see boots.com, the orange couple, generic error and F5 EVER EVER EVER again!!!! (well....ok.....not until there is another bargain to be had!! lol)
There is no 90% sale this year. Anything not sold at 75% off will be destroyed and disposed off - asked a manager in store today.0 -
Thanks for the heads up GF but that kinda makes it worse now as I have no transport
So close but yet so far. I waited up all night to get something online and ended up with nothing- then dashed out to maket street like a zombie on the train, then back to home on the train and back out to the trafford centre on the bus. My arms are down to my ankles
I think i might just have a trip to market street again as its not so difficult for me to get there. Fingers crossed they've got more stock coming like the trafford centre. Although I will be there asap if i find out from mse that the traff centre has loads of good stuff in

I have only seen National Trust sets at Manchester Fort. I was there for their 9am opening this morn and there was only me till 5 to when one other lady came, then about 10 more people filtered in after they opened. Could be worth giving them a call in the morning and seeing if they have any left and heading over there? Easy to get to if you drive.:A Shoppaholic Spendaholic Student :A0 -
I was pleased with my buys today
I managed to get 7 different gifts plus some toiletries I needed for a total of about £40.00
Plus I managed to get 2 snowies which I redeemed for a nail varnish and brush and picked up just over £10 worth of points too!0 -
Any Manchester Bootser seen any of the Ruby&Millie comapct mirrors, I know that Market Street has sold out of them. Or if any other bootsers have one or two spare I would pay cost, postage and something for your time?x
P.S Economy Beans I was there too at 8am! we may have seen each other!!0 -

I dont use public transport but its pretty much a straight road to Manchester fort from town so there might be a bus service that goes past it? If you are desperately after them and you call and they have what you want it might be worth investigating whether you can get there. And if you cant then... oops sorry for getting your hopes up! I didnt go Market Street but spoke to a lady that had. I reckon trafford centre is a good bet for more stock as its accessible by so many people they will shift stock that otehr stores might struggle with so I bet some stuff in transferred in. I cant go tomorrow, unless I get out of my exam early (which actually I prob will) but will check on here too for any updates first hehe Might even give them a call actually! If not Im deff popping in friday as Ive got to go carphone warehouse so will report back if they have decent stock!0 -

I was wearing big pink coat and a bright red face. Did you go in on the ground floor or first floor? It was quite good fun wasn't it...until my arms got achy
Sorry didnt see any mirrors in the trafford centre boo:A Shoppaholic Spendaholic Student :A0 -

I bought mine off eBay this afternoon for 99p + £1.40 postage. I know you don't get any points but at least it was cheap0 -

The Trafford Centre had about 80 I would say. they had three shelves full for about two weeks. Thats exactly what I went there for! Im guilty of taking quite a few *embarrassed* but there were still plenty. They were going down but as there was so many there is still a chance there are some left. I actually have 4 at 50% off to take back as I managed to get them in 75% and Im going to traf centre anyway on fri so you could always try fri afternoon to see if mine have been put back out! Tried to take them back to regent sreet today but aparently they have to go back to the Trafford Centre as they are Ruby and Millie so maybe other people will take them back too.0 -

Funny you should say that. One year I took my boyfriend with me to the boots sale and he was talking to one of the sa and she said to him that the trafford centre store took in sales stock from the stores in the manchester area so you could just be right there.
Good luck with your exam tomorrow- are you at manchester uni?:A Shoppaholic Spendaholic Student :A0
