Just back from our day in London to see Oliver after visiting Boots in Bath this morning...loads of bargains...i must say a big thanks to all the staff in Bath today...between us mum and i had 12 bags and 2 managers and a SA helped us carry all the bags downstairs, then waited with mum while i brought the car closer and then insisted on helping carrying the bags to the car in the rain/snow and helped to load the car as well......

As we walked past the small branch in Covent Garden my mum said ..come on, lets have a look, not alot but Gok, perfume sets, Botanics, ted baker and a few other bits, we deceided we couldn't take them into the theatre, so went back after wards and the same stuff still there at 5.30pm...only 50% off signs...so we couldn't resist and i got a big Gok box for £10 and mum got 3 small gok sets at £2 each...Dad burst out laughing when he picked us up at Bath ststion...!!!!!!

Aw, glad you and your mum had a good day. My mum is a bargain hunter also, but has been housebound for a month after a fall in the bad snow. She was champing at the bit tonight hearing all about the Boots sale! :)

Sooooooooooooo glad I don't live anywhere near there, that's my sale shopping OVER :rotfl:

oh no- I live in manchester! I dont know what to do now....

I went to market street this morning at 7.50. I was waiting upstairs when they let people in through the ground floor entrance and people were literally running up the stairs to grab things. The people on the first floor were banging on the windows to let them in- it was hilarious!

When we did get in it certainly wasn't civilsed and there were a lot of people with far more than what they would need for themselves and a few family members- these guys were definatly ebayers!!!! Its so frustrating!!!

Anyway, I went to the trafford centre this afternoon and it was really quite poor compared to market street. They didnt have any of the more expensive sets left, it was just stuff like the small TB and FCUK sets.

So now I dont know what to do tomorrow. I really wanted some of the national trust sets but ive not seen hide nor hair of them- has any one else?

I was at the Trafford Centre for the opening and there were lots of things but they all went quickly. No Gok or No.7 Ultimate though. It was manic! Lots of bulk buyers here too.

I have only seen National Trust sets at Manchester Fort. I was there for their 9am opening this morn and there was only me till 5 to when one other lady came, then about 10 more people filtered in after they opened. Could be worth giving them a call in the morning and seeing if they have any left and heading over there? Easy to get to if you drive.

Didn't post my full haul in my earlier post, so here goes:

    1st shop at 8:00 am

    1 x No.7 Ultimate set
    2 x Gok Wan sets
1 x Chilli Pepper mini set
2 x mens small edt set
3 x ladies edt sets (one has a broken bottle in - so may return it as no good for a pressie)
1 x sanctuary edt set (unopened - but one bottle is only just over half full - again no good for pressies)
1 x Magnolia garden collection cosmetic bag and creams
2 x Royal Jelly washbags - asked assistant to try 250 points coupon, but till beeped - so no go.
1 x sanctuary edt, body shimmer and body lotion gift set
    1 x 17 eye kit set

2nd shop at 5:30pm - different store - hardly any stock left

    2 x covergirl sets
1 x chilli pepper mini set
1 x make up set (can't remember the name - not one I had heard of or seen before)

Quite a good haul, set up for presents for the year and a bit of pampering for me.
