Have you used it? The Jacamo account, that is!! :p
Haha, yea I brought some jeans on there (cheap too!) haven't used it since though, I get endless crap from them though, and I don't think it's possible to stop their marketing so I might just block their email address until I buy something again :rotfl:

I bought a £150 bracelet yesterday, when I could have used that money to put towards a card. :(

Oh dear! :( Is there any way you can return the bracelet? Or did you buy it in person? If you buy it online I'm sure you're allowed to send it back under distance selling etc...

I'm getting annoyed - credit score last month was 499 now it's gone down to 492 and I haven't even applied for anything and all my accounts are up to date

Also I can't log into my Jdwilliams or Jacamo accounts, going to ring them to find out why.
This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.

Why are you paying for credit scores? Absolute waste of money

As cifpower says, if you're paying it's a complete waste of money, the scores are basically made up (probably why it's got "worse"!). I'll give you your credit score for next month.... 555.......

If you really want to check properly just get a copy of the report (£2 or a free trial, don't stay signed up for any of the paid stuff) and look through it - on time payments is obviously good, how much credit do you have available, how much are you using - too high or low is bad, BUT (and this is why scores are a waste of money) nobody can say what's good or bad, because each company has a different criteria, e.g. 40% used might be bad to one company but fine to another :)

Just like to see if it's improving or not tbh, I don't actually think it is worth me paying for right now. Got four defaults that are due to drop off later this year, so may aswell wait until then I suppose!

It just gets addictive, like a game, waiting for my score to go up lol - except it doesnt!!! haha

See my post above (http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=28966681&postcount=1690)... your score could be 999/999, it doesn't mean anything at all, that's just how Experian or whatever rip off merchant it is rate you, that's not how Argos or Next rate you, so wanting to see it go up won't make a difference.

If you have 4 defaults then that's going to stop a lot of apps anyway, so wait for them to drop off and you'll be in a much better position
