Which one is cheating, Topcashback or Ebay?

Yep as the others have said it's the % of the fees sellers are charged so overall you really don't get much but better than nothing.

No, I think you'd like compensation, but since this is the real world and not some Jeremy Kyle fantasy land, you are unlikely to get anywhere.
Protest too much, and I'm pretty certain all of these loyalty programmes will simply terminate your membership.
It is money for nothing - does the phrase "looking a gift horse in the mouth" mean anything?I miss the days when we could get up to 40p for buying 1p ebooks/pictures
Which part explains why so many changes have had to be made....
The ebay affiliates are now paid out on a per click basis, not a revenue share basis, so I'd make the most of these cashback schemes whilst you can before they possibly change to something much less lucrative...<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

Don't know if it's 40% or 60% as I CBA to work it out but it's definitely not 3%.
Better than Quidco anyway- that never tracked through at all for me.
It'a also a quite hard thing to work out- small auctions from private sellers ebay gets 10%, but businesses it is 8.75%, BiN is 9.9%, large auctions are split between two rates.....
In Topcashback it is easier to work it out than in Quidco, as Topcashback shows you the amount from which they calculated the %.
So for example we have (unfortunately, it is not shown here as a table, so more difficult to read):
Date Retailer Transactions Purchase Amount Top-Up Cash Back Status Payable Date* Note
Info
Item Num [cut] Total Sale Amount: £7.27
Open
21/11/09 Ebay 1 x £0.01 £0.34 £0.00 £0.01
Confirmed
31/01/10 (1)
Info
Item Num [cut] Total Sale Amount: £5.51
Open
21/11/09 Ebay 1 x £0.01 £0.34 £0.00 £0.01
Confirmed
31/01/10 (1)
Info
Item Num [cut] Total Sale Amount: £5.50
Open
18/11/09 Ebay 1 x £0.17 £0.43 £0.00 £0.17
Confirmed
31/01/10 (1)
So as you see it is 40% of ebay revenue on 18/11/09 and only 3% in two cases on 21/11/09Also is it really calculated from ebay revenue? Because ebay revenue should be higher than listed above (it should be at least 10% of the transaction value plus listing fee, perhaps in some cases, like purchasing in ebay shops it is lower, but these were not transactions in ebay shops). So what eBay revenue exactly means? Does it mean all fees which eBay collect from seller for a particular auction (so it would be for example a sum of Insertion fee, Final Value fee, Gallery fee, Buy it now fee etc.)? Or does it mean only eBay Insertion fee or perhaps eBay Final value fee?
Edited to insert some screenshots of the tables:
For another person:
These are still pending:

Money are never for nothing, it is for example money for our time spent using their offer. Money is always for something even if it is not obvious instantly for what.
Free money or not, they should be honest and state correct earnings amount, so if it is 40% or 3% they should make it clear, and not make you believe that you will earn 60%, while it is not the case. It is not like they were misleading like that for just a few days, it is a long term problem.
If you allow them to cheat reagarding this, then when do you think they will stop...?0 -

After looking at our account bit, we seem to only be getting 40%, not 60%.
That said, we've still got over £65 out of them since Bonfire night (when we moved from Quidco to TCB).for e.g if you baught something for £20 and the seller had to pay 80p seller fees,Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.

Well I reckon I've been tricked too. Bought something on ebay ( BIN) for £80 and £0.66 is pending from ebay on Topcashback. If thats 60% of fees then that sellers got a VERY good deal from Ebay.
So whats my next move?0 -

Check also Ebay revenues amounts. I can bet most of them will be much too low.0 -

If your not happy with them Don't use them. If you think your being conned and you continue to use them all your doing is accepting what they are doing is OK.0
