I really liked this sign with phone number, helpfully posted by Premier on another thread. :D:p

Now who fancies phoning their Parking helpline, any suggestions of some pertinent questions about private parking tickets we can ask?

We could phone saying someone driving our car got a ticket at 'blahblah' store but only overstayed by 5 minutes...etc., why have I been sent a letter with a fine as I was not driving. It would be really interesting to see if they use the words 'fine' and 'penalty' (Premier seems convinced that they will not?) and if they suggest that the RK is liable to pay or has to divulge who the driver was.

I have to work this afternoon so just thought I would take a moment to post this as a separate thread for thoughts from other posters first. If anyone does phone the 'helpline' number, please can you post whether you get through to Tesco or to EuroCrapparks (maybe Premier himself as he has not so far denied a suggested connection on the other thread)?

:rotfl:
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Tesco parking helpline. Could mean anything - a bit like the term "Premier" really. You sit down expecting to see the latest Barclays Premier encounter and end up with the Blue Square Premier.

    It's Euro Car Park's telephone.

How that even be an attempt at a contract if they don't state who the contract is with?

Shocking, yet more deception! I may ring them up and see if they can help me in some way with my reverse parking.
  • I have NOT told them that I can't find parking!!!

It didn't use to be, not 3 months ago at least.

How is UK Parking Control Limited related to Euro Car Parks?

I would like to know of any monies collected so far, to whom it had been given. What percentgage was retained by the scammers, er I mean the PPC.

They must be publicly accountable surely?

All profits from Tesco car parking charges are donated to the Tesco Charity of the year.

Why would Tesco be publically accountable, other than the requirement to publish company accounts? You can order these from companies house if you want :)

I've not been able to find any info about the amount they've donated to charity through this scam. I assume Euro Carparks aren't doing this out of the goodness of their hearts and are all working as volunteers?!

How could anyone trust Teso that they had in fact passed over any of the money to that charity? How do we know that the PPC and Tesco haven't kept it for themselves?

Tesco haven't exactly redeemed themselves in terms of honourability and truthfulness over on the other thread.
