Ah well she should be fine then! No chance I'd let her do that much work at the best of times! Most modelling jobs pay between £100 and £150 so I was hoping for maybe £300 - £500 a year for her savings - I'd be chuffed with that!Krystaltips wrote: »Who have you registered with Tine?
Models direct so far... they do charge a fee but it's fairly small and I've heard fairly good reports about them... they also charge a whopping third of each fee which I'm not sure I'm happy with but hohum... they're one of the biggest agencies I think...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Thats Lovely Tine, My OH has 'A fathers love is eternal' In Spanish tattooed down the inside of his forearm! Its gorgeous. I will post pics if anyone wants to see....Well no "how's your father" last night
- but loads of snuggles and hugs and a long conversation with OH about it... he's still paranoid about hurting me after seeing the damage that was caused during birth as he's not a small chap, bless the poor soul *sigh* I know it was a bit traumatic as he could actually see most of what happened and he did turn very white a few times and actually thought he was going to loose me at one point when the bleeding was out of control... So I can understand his worries bless the poor chap... So we cuddled a lot and did a lot of kissing and talking.
We're going to put the weeble in her own room for a couple of hours one evening this week for some mummy and daddy time and just take it slowly.
On the up side...
8 1/2 HOURS!!! Alexandra slept from 21:30 till about 6am this morning! Then she had a HUGE feed and has crashed out again and is still sleeping... could this be a sign of things to come? Full nights sleep??? I can hope and dream!!!
Make sure you have some err can't think of a polite word for it so gonna just say it... lubeAre all the BFers feeling rather dry down there? I know it's a normal 'side effect' but it feels weird to me
Am I a bad mother??? I have just registered Alexandra to be a baby model  don't know if we'll be exccepted ofcourse but i thought it might be quite fun and something to put in a savings account for her(not her trust fundy thingy started with the £250 the government sent... I don't like the idea of letting an 18 year old suddenly have control of a rather substancial amount of money - what if she's turned into a spendaholic!!! I'd rather it was in an account we control and if she's going to uni then it could help pay her fees etc
(I know unbelievable isn't it!!) I blame the fact that they wanted to charge for more photos but after about 3months he looked completely different to the ones they had!!
I might try again but with a different agancy I've heard about
Elle - I found that my boys both only wake for food at night but are more wakeful in the day for playing - maybe I was just lucky...
Mrs T I don't think LO's pay tax on earnings do they? If they do I assume it's the same as the lowest income tax threashold which is just short of £5k I think0 -
My little girl has woken with the snuffles today which has had me in tears this morning because she is all bunged up and I cant make her comfortable. Funnily enough though she appears to breath absolutely fine through her nose when she has a mouthful of b00b!!
She's only 6 weeks so wondered what I can give her for a cold/snuffles. Just realised I have no baby first aid kit, so what essentials should I keep in the house anyway. When I was little it was calpol, savlon and vicks vapo rub!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Mrs Tine, just a thought, but doesn't Martin's mantra of pay off debt with savings also make sense with children's savings? Unless you've got your debts secured at an amazingly low % and a huge savings product for bubs.... Which you probably have so I'll shut up now!
