Indeed - may end up being a good example of why booking something cancellable in advance and stalking better deals closer to your dates makes sense. :)

I always book something as soon as the flights are booked, or before in the case of our next trip. It has paid off numerous times as we have been there on Kentucky Derby weekend for the last 4 years and for 3 of those years these has also been a big fight annouced after we have booked and the rates rocketted.

Re new poll, I come on here to get any little snippet of information I can and to help where I can.

I'm grateful for any promo or offers I see.

HERE is a link with photos of the screens at Tix4Tonight showing prices of shows in April, May and June.

From that I could see that we would be cheaper using the TravelZoo offer for the Blue Man Group so I booked the tickets this morning on the Venetian website. A $10pp additional charge made them the same price, but I saved T4T's service charge and probably got better seats than if I had waited and got them on the day.

Awesome! Thanks Luci! I know they can change regularly, but it's so helpful to have a firm idea of what may be on offer.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Ditto that...while we normally don't hunt around too much for hotel promos for ourselves, occasionally one will be posted that's too good to pass up (like the hotels.co.uk screw up a few years ago!) and I probably wouldn't see them if I wasn't looking here. Shows too - with so many eagle eyed folks out there posting the best of the best when they pop up, some great deals can be found.

Since many people here go to Vegas fairly regularly, there's always a good amount of new and current info rolling in too - plus things we wouldn't normally hear about - like Mystery Adventures...almost positive I wouldn't have known of that if it weren't for this thread and it's one of my favorite things I've ever done in Vegas.

Yes I'm always trying to remember what price certain shows were, but unless I'd actually booked them I can never remember.

Looks like the TravelZoo offers are cheaper than Tix and I've just realised that George Wallace isn't listed there even though the photos were taken on 3 different days. I know he's dark Sunday and Monday so it may just be a coincidence that they were taken on those days.

With regards to promo codes like the 1s found on fat wallet etc, are they usually reliable? Like if it says "Rate available for all" is this normally the case, just wondering incase I book using one of these codes then get rejected at check-in or something. This happened to anyone?

No problem at all in using codes and the FW and SmaterVegas links usually link direct to the hotel.

Some of the MGM codes say they are for Player's Club members, but I have never been asked to show my card. If you are not a member and are concerned just sign up at the Player's Club and get your card before checking in.

I am not a cinema goer and only watch films when I'm flying. The Hangover was the first visit to the cinema in 6 years and I thought it was really funny and would quite like to see it again.
