mine arent. The blood bit is ok, its just the moods i get. It can make me violent when its bad, but this time round its more the constant sick feeling and sluggy yuck hurty tummy feeling i have now. Still, its all character bulding!
Just been on the gmtv website, i put my stats into this converter which tells me what shape i am. i have a 30inch waist and a 42inch hip. Im devestated that number has never reduced. Anyway, this is what it said:
You are best described as Pear shaped.
This means you will store body fat around your mid section often leading to a prominent tummy and shapeless bottom. Surely that is an apple??? Cos my bum is far from shapeless and my tummy isnt prominent, not for my size anyway. Thighs are big but thats about it.
i put in some fake numbers:
You are best described as Apple shaped.
This means you will generally store fat below the waistline which can often lead to cellulite on the thighs. Now that is pear!!! What a !!!! up.
my body fat percentage according to my measurements is 34.4% which is quite accurate.0 -
Yep looks to me they've got their apples and pears mixed up.0

Arftynoon all
Went out for a lovely run yesterday, decided not to push myself for a nice slow job and really enjoyed it. My time wasn't much longer than normal as well!
Just had a pleasant hour in the field throwing a Frisbee for Shadow, she's now asleep on the sofa lol.
Off for last footy training session tonight (end of season) then having home make curry at C's parentslovely.

I would like to take up a bit of jogging but not sure where to start, any suggestions?
Hey Jane, I don't think anyone has answered you yet
The best thing is not to try to do too much too fast. And don't run too fast, you only need to start with a gentle jog, just over walking pace, and slowly build up to a comfortable speed (this will come naturally as your body adapts to running!). Running isn't about how fast you can finish, but by how far you can go, a nice steady running pace is a lot more enjoyable than a full out sprint!!
Start by jogging about a mile, slow down and walk if you need too, but keep trying to push on to the next lamppost or marker.
When you can go the whole mile while running increase the distance slightly.
Don't try to run too far too quickly, you can injure yourself by increasing the mileage too much. Just add another mile on, then after 3-4 weeks (or whenever you're ready) add another mile.
Take plenty of water and always stretch after.
I usually run 3-4 times a weekrest days are important for letting your body recover!
Hope this helps

Has anyone ever done a detox type diet? My aunty paid for this one called The Bus Drivers Diet?
She reckons she lost 8lbs on the 1st 10 days she was on it. She said she doesn't think she could do it as a proper diet again, but she does it every 2-3 months for a week to detox herself.
Just wondered if anyone here does something like this? Its my bday at the end of the month & I was thinking maybe 10 days before that if I did it for 7 days (if that makes sense...... so I'd be off it & back on a normal diet 3 days before my bday) I could shift a double amount that week maybe?
I've tasted the soup & I kinda agree with her, you couldn't really do it for much more than a week..•¨¨*:•..•

Those detox are all well and good for a quick fix but that is all they are and invariably you put it all back on and more because your body has been starved of vital nutrients and you need much more food than just the detox and simply you give up and go mad at the end of it taking in more calories than necessary and therefore gain again, I know the celebs etc use it to get into their oscars dress but it is better to do it slowly, safely, healthily and for the whole future not just a quick weight loss that does more harm than good:D0
