Also noticed asda little angels eco shampoo, bubble bath and baby lotion. All designed for babies, but that wouldn't stop me using them. All were labeled as suitable for vegetarians and vegans and 98p each. There was other little angel baby products, but they were just labeled as vegetarian, so may not be vegan.

My current lazy food (on the rare occasions when I go to the supermarket) are Innocent veg pots... I realise I could easily make exactly the same thing myself, but it's nice to have an option of something quick and easy cooked by someone else! I do only buy them on offer though!

Weatherspoons do list all there vegan products which may help when eating out, not much choice, but it does change, so worth checking if you know your going. Sweet Potato, Chickpea & Spinach Curry with Yellow Basmati Rice, Mango Chutney and Extra Poppadums (no naan bread) is the only real main choice meal, but there is side dishes and jacket pototoes. The cury was tasty, although a little too spicy for me.

Beefeater (!!) also list there vegan suitable meals on there website, which seem to be lots of side dishes, but I guess a lot of these would make a decent meal. May help if you had to go there with family or friends. Not tried it myself.

Tofu quiche (from animal aid website)
    Ingredients
    Pastry

    1 roll of Jus-Rol shortcrust
    pastry or
    255g plain wholemeal flour

    130g margarine

    Filling
    1 x 250g plain tofu or 1 x

    220g smoked tofu (Cauldron)
    1 medium onion – peeled

    and chopped

1 red pepper – sliced, after
    pith and seeds removed
    1 medium courgette – sliced

    3-4 cloves garlic – peeled

    and crushed
    Unsweetened soya milk

    1 pack of soya cheese

    Fresh ground black pepper

    Vegetable oil to fry

    Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5
    Method
    Pastry:
If not using ready-made pastry, make from scratch by rubbing the margarine into
the flour until it resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add enough water to make a dough which
is soft, but not sticky. Roll out on a floured board to size. Place pastry into the quiche dish.
Bake for 10 minutes to set the pastry.
    Filling:
Fry the onions lightly for a few minutes. Add the courgette, pepper and garlic and
fry for 4-5 mins until they begin to soften. Take off the heat and set aside.
Break up the tofu into a blender and grate the cheese to taste. Blend together, gradually
adding the milk to form a paste. Add this mixture to the fried vegetables. Place into the
quiche dish. Bake for 40-50 mins.
Allow to cool/’set’ for a short while, say half an hour. Slice and serve with a salad.
    Its gorgeous!!!!

Last night I cooked nut roast, potatoes, carrots and broc for our tea.

I always try to do extra veg, so I've got enough for dinner the next day.

    Baked rosti

Mash the potatoes, carrot and broccoli with pepper, garlic and smoked paprika.
Add a little olive oil if it's too crumbly.
Place on a baking sheet and put in pre-heated oven (200) for about 10 minutes or until browned.
Serve with Vegan Worcestershire or Brown sauce and a cup of Assam or Earl Grey

    Enjoy!
